If your Blast City monitors can support 31Khz (which they should unless you’ve changed one or both), you can run a native VGA level Naomi video signal to both cabs. I've done similar with a distributed Dreamcast video signal via VGA box. In general, you're not limited to 15Khz only on these cabinets. Sega built these mainly to support their own game hardware, many of which run at 24Khz or 31Khz natively. These monitors are mutilsync. Nice video guide all around. Thanks for getting this information out there.

The one on the left is actually an MS9. I know some people mod them to be trisync but I haven’t done anything like that. Thanks to them being different monitors, if it’s the same signal I need to stick with 15k. You’re absolutely right that you could totally VGA box it and skip the video part of the VS kit if you’re going for 31k with like the ms2930/31/33s or other tri syncs. I really appreciate you watching! Thank you.

Awesome video🎉 congrats , your setup is awesome. Actually i have a question about it. I do have 2 aero city and i want to play mvc2 from a naomi . My question is , can i use a vga splitter to send the signal to a second cabinet with a second io board?
@_Tizoc_5 ай бұрын
@@beyondreamsandmind1679 picture wise definitely but this setup uses an amp board for the signal but vga is probably good. not sure how you're gonna handle inputs.

@@_Tizoc_ thanks for your respond. So i do have a cabinet with player 1 and player 2. So my idea is to pass out the players2' cables to the second cabinet and the vga to the second io board. Not sure if its gonna work out. Do you have exp in this topic?

@@beyondreamsandmind1679 I have experience in doing it the right way. you know there are other versus kits, right? what you're talking about is a bootleg way of doing it

Hello, what if you connect a CPS-2 or any other 15khz PCB? Do you encounter any sort of issue with the video signal being sent to both cabs? Thank you!!
