Mega Drive isn't something I grew up with, but it's probably the one I come back to more than others. So many games to just pick up and play.

I remember the Megadrive was the first system where I was actually blown away by graphics and sound and presentation. It felt like the arcade was at home for the first time.

The Megadrive was a game changer, especially in Scotland, Jimtendo, damn, I mean Nintendo didn't give two hoots about the market up here. But Comix Zone! Nobody loved playing Comix Zone, we wanted to, but we're much mire inclined to want to smash it to bits with a sledge hammer 🤣 Jim nudged me your way 😎

I've always loved the sound of mega drive music over snes, it just did bass and grittiness so much better, the snes always just felt too soft

FM music is special and honestly I’ve been surprised how well some programmers use the sound hardware on the mega drive. Gauntlet 4 using the 76489 PSG for background effects was ace
