This is what will happen and why they will spar. It will be a similar scenario like in season 4 where Daniel and Johnny spar to see who takes the lead of the 2 dojos. In this case it's obvious that chozen is the best fighter alive in the show. Once chozen wins, it will prove to Johnny how Miyagi do also has offence in their book and Johnny finally understands and agree he should be a sensei as Miyagi do

Listen, I think it makes sense that Miyagi-do would be the chosen dojo because Daniel LaRusso (who is actually Miyagi-do) was able to defeat Terry Silver and take down Cobra Kai.

I totally agree because in season 5 there was this scene where Johnny and Danial said each other dojo names and maybe in episode 1 to settle this Danial suggests Johnny fights chosen because he and Danial already had a fight in season 4 and since they know they’ll just knock each other out Johnny will agree to fight chosen

Chozen would beat him with medium difficulty. In 1984 Johnny has trained for 5 years while Chozen has been training for his entire life. 84 Johnny was struggling against the more defensive side of Miyagi Do so I don’t think that he would be able to win against the offensive side
