There is a way that he communicated the number to his partner the number twelve by some sort of language code, something like if he starts his sentence with the letter "A", it means 1 and the second number is hinted by the next word.

@@becomeanolive1637 Maybe. I'm not sure but wouldn't have judges noticed if Misterion wrote something during the show. and interesting thing also I noticed is that 88 + 12 = 100, the first guy perhaps unconsciously subtracted 12 from 100 after getting the message "12"

I don't know the female judges name but when she told them to write a number a double digit number on the paper she looked over at how his paper and that's how they both got the number 12 it was a little bit after the 2-minute mark

I think the die is gimmicked, where whatever the die back side is laying on, it us communicated to them by some sort of bug in their ear...notice how he says "make sure it is flat on your hand" just a guess?

If that’s the case, why was the first one miscalled and then come back up again. This whole scene is based on “almost perfect” mindreading. Including Howie’s hiccup
