What’s worse is that if you’re talking about him being killed in King in Black by Knull that wasn’t even supposed to have happened! Unless he died again that I don’t know about. But if you’re talking about by Knull the Sentry wasn’t even supposed to be in that comic. The last time Sentry was seen was in space and he was Merged Sentry where he was complete with Bob, Sentry, and Void all becoming perfectly merged. And again, the Sentry was way out in space if I’m not mistaken he was in space in another dimension! But the writer of King in Black even said that he messed up because he didn’t read the last Sentry comic so he didn’t know that he was not supposed to be there. But it seems like someone at Marvel should’ve known that Sentry wasn’t there at the time! Like no one at Marvel whatsoever knew about where the Sentry was?! All they had to do was literally look at his Wiki page or something and see where he’s at. It’s literally that easy!

I'm pretty sure the Bob Reynolds Sentry will be back because so far, the majority of Marvel's new characters don't seem to resonate with comic book readers. That could probably be attributed to some of the writers. Personally, l prefer trades or alternative stories, but maybe one day, comics will return to prominence. 🤷🏾‍♂️

It's not that he shouldn't have returned, it's the fact that marvel doesn't have anyone creative enough to further explore his character. Especially today's marvel, they'd rather explore the struggles of being "non binary" than expand and make a character interesting. Look at what mark waid did for Wally West, you don't see that level of writing at marvel and DC today.

2:05 this face is meme worthy. I have always hated the Sentry. I don't mind him as much as a villain but I just don't think marvel needed another flying brick archetype that's just somehow miraculously stronger than Thor, Surfer, or Hulk. His introduction to the universe by retroactively inserting him into continuity was terrible, his writing has largely been irritating and honestly, I just don't like him. I actually do like his concept of a hero/villain type character, I just don't like this one.
