The Septic Patient (PL) - Radiometer

A 60-year-old woman arrives at the emergency department with suspected sepsis. Blood gas analysis shows that she suffers from metabolic acidosis and her x-ray indicates pneumonia. She doesn’t respond to antibiotic treatment.
