In Islam is a complete practical way of life. You don't need to sit at one place for hours self centered doing only meditation to get spiritual awakening. Islam teaches Muslims to get into action like Belief, Prayer 5 times. fasting, alms giving, pilgrimage, taking care of near and dear , good neighborly relations, Proper dealings in business, job, transactions, each and every action towards good as worship/rememberance of Almighty Allah. Lataif are mentioned in quran.in addition to chakras mentioned in hinduism there are 5 other lataifs in the chest whose keys are with the 5 big prophets. After travelling through all lataif and finally lataif anna in head takes one into presence of allah. All this can happen only under a kamil murshide.

If this does end up to be haram (even though their was no mention of this being haram) then Allah will know your true intentions and forgive you.

Harvard studies showed that Music has a positive effect on us. Some Music reduce stress, anxiety and promote the overall well being of the person. Have you seen Dr Emoto's water experience on Music? it showed a positive effect and that same experience was done with zamzam water which also produced positive effect.
