I just finished the show Sunday! And one thing I will say is that the writers seem to HATE Warner Bros because of the way they portray the Vought company. Vought has the greatest, most influential superheroes in the world. And the Seven, most of them anyway, look like and have the powers as the Justice League. With a neverending amount of products from billion dollar blockbuster movies to...shampoo? And yet, the company is constantly in damage control mode because the image of what a superhero is supposed to be is constantly getting ruined, either because of their decisions or the heroes themselves. I don't think they predicted this part, but a few of said heroes have literally assaulted people but the company doesn't give them any real consequences for their actions and lets them keep their careers playing hero. And I can't think of a better comparison than Warner Bros!

Black Noir to me would be a little more with will where he is dedicated to complete his mission but not for himself aside from trying to axe Soldier Boy. Homelander is very much fitting for the Indigo tribe of compassion, he wanted love by those he’s the closest but want the world to love him. Wants everything but no idea how to handle, willing to do missions but take anything at ease, and very much fit to place fear to everything until blackmail is in the way, well so far as how season 3 ended. The Indigo Tribe is mostly summed by criminals with lack remorse, he fits just fine.

Before solider boy returns, black noir is all murder. And after he returns, it's straight revenge. Will power isnt the same (canonically) as being focused on a goal. And homelander barely feels empathy for his own kid. Shame might fit him, but he is certainly not compassionate.

Maybe I misunderstand the Lantern Corps, but I think that Black Noir would be a better fit for the Green Corp of Willpower. The guy has pushed through so much and (was) a massive force to be reckoned with. I never considered him to be angry or spiteful or anything, but just DRIVEN to an extreme measure. The guy got half his brains smushed out and yet he continued to be a 'hero'. There's the argument that could be made that it's Vought driving him, rather than Black Noir himself, but if that's the case then no corp is right for him. I think the guy has a lot more willpower than rage personally. I would also like to point out that along with Mauve, he is one of the only members of the seven to actually... well, put in effort into his job? It's clear that he trains himself, and works out, and tries to be the best. I also think that compassion might be a better fit for Queen Mauve. The main reason for this is because it's her compassion for the victims of the flight that drove her to start going against homelander in the first place, and I think she shows a lot of compassion towards Starlight. But I can see how love works as well.

Actually I think Black Noir would be the perfect black lantern. He is arguably Stan Edgar’s most effective weapon against enemies of the company. He’s essentially a court of owls talon. A soldier that will do anything his master tells him to do with no questions asked. He is pretty much walking death. The tool that isn’t used often in the public eye and has killed god knows how many people. With him having next to no emotions, and being a soldier of vought he is more than qualified for the black ring of death.

I'd probably give Homelander the Yellow ring of fear. Rage isn't quite the same as anger, especially not the type of anger Homelander shows which like you said is basically the equivalent of throwing tantrums most of the time. Meanwhile he does inspire Great fear to pretty much anyone that knows him for more than 3 seconds. And even a decent size of the population as of Season 3. I'd switch Black Noir for yellow as well. Not even sure the guy has capacity for anger considering he's brain damaged and perceives the word as if it's an old school Disney movie. The only real emotion we see him display is fear (of Soldier boy) and he probably inspires a lot of fear as well considering he's an Assasin

I think Maeve would also be a great candidate for the Green Lantern Corp. While I agree with most of what is said in this video and that she would fit in great in the Star Sapphires, I think it is worth mentioning that near the end of season 2, her girlfriend left after discovering the video from the botched plane job. Despite that she pressed on and continued to work with Butcher against Homelander and was ultimately the one who made Homelander bleed. And this after she presumably spent the better part of a decade being utterly terrified of Homelander which brings to mind what the Green Lanterns' rings say whenever they greet a new member "[Name] of [Planet], you have the power to overcome great fear..."

Noir didn’t go after Soldier Boy because of anger. If that were the case, he wouldn’t have spent most of season 3 hiding from him. He was afraid of him but wanted to stop him because of how bad he is. Even back in 84 that’s why he wanted to take him down. He didn’t want it to continue. He also never kills without reason really. And when he killed the terrorist he even tried to cheer up the little kid that was there. I think he belongs in the green lantern corps because of his drive to do what he has to for the good of everyone else.

I would argue that Black Noir also qualifies for the Yellow Lantern Corps. This guy terrifies EVERYONE at Vought save for Homelander. He's their wetwork agent, eliminating any witnesses and compromising individuals with brutal efficiency. He's the Batman of the Seven, and Batman himself once acted as a Yellow Lantern. Ironically, Stormfront also qualifies as Yellow Lantern Corps not just because of how terrifying she is, but the fact she uses fear-mongering to manipulate people. Fear is the greatest tool of all dictators, both to cow people into submission and rally them against any imagined enemy. Translucent, from what I've seen, would qualify as either Yellow Lantern or Orange Lantern. He is a stealth-type character who is also a major creep, and his tactics seem to boil down to catching people offguard and terrifying them before killing them. That aside, he's clearly a greedy fuck, as the only thing he cares about in his only scene with the other Seven is how his new movie was pirated. Villains with invisibility powers tend to be extremely self-centered, misanthropic assholes who abuse their powers to indulge in any kind of whim.

Personally, I think Homelander and Stormfront deserve an indigo ring. For those who aren't familiar with how the Indigo Tribe works, there are two ways to get in: 1. Have an abundance of compassion. 2. Have none what so ever. And if you fall into the latter camp, the ring will erase your memories and make you feel nothing but compassion! In other words, if you aren't compassionate, the ring wears you! And I think we all know which category these two fall under!

I definitely think that Homelander should be in the Indigo Tribe, given that their entire point is not that their ring is granted to those with compassion, but it instead forces itself onto those with the least compassion and makes them see compassion. And while rage and avarice definitely fit him, I think his driving factor is just how little he cares about other people. That being said with season 4 out fear probably works even better, but not including it, Homelander really is a prime candidate for the Indigo Ring.

Hughie would probably be a green, red, blue or indigo lantern. The dude does have anger issues but he tends to control them decently, he’s arguably the most morally good and questions the morals of the crew the most, and most of his actions are his own and even when MM and Frenchie start giving up he still keeps trying. Butch would likely have to be a red, or green lantern due to the fact the guy can’t let a vendetta go no matter what happens, and is as stubborn as they come. Frenchie would likely be a indigo or pink lantern due to his compassion and gut feelings guiding him more often than not. MM would probably be a green, indigo, red, or maybe even blue. The guy sometimes lashes out in frustration but not often, he has wisdom and control over his priorities and ideals, he morally understands many people like Hughie whose walking the same path as him, and his wisdom sometimes gives Hughie and starlight hope. Kimiko is mainly a red, green or pink lantern. As she has moments of extreme anger, love, and willpower. Bonus: Soldier Boy would probably be a red, orange, or yellow lantern. Dude has anger unlike anyone, he constantly hogs the spotlight, he keeps his team from being better out of fear and bullying and he doesn’t show respect for others. In short most of the boys would probably be in the red, green, or indigo lantern corps as will, rage, or compassion is what usually drives them.

I think Homelander would look better in Yellow, because of its potential to cause fear. Stormfront in Red, because her biggest goal involves hate, it's just hate and eliminate other people different from her. Starlight and A Train (season 4) they proved to be great Green Lanterns, overcoming their fear of Homelander and actually acting against him

Well listen, I don’t particularly disagree with you on rage for black noir, but I think he fits better for compassion. For 2 reasons: 1) we actually do see him display it post face burning, once to a child through the use of a stuffed rabbit. As well as through the compassion he shows to homelander in “the boys diabolical” and in the main series itself. He does show that he cares for homelander 2) the indigo lantern Corp has taken in murderers before inorder to give them compassion. I think since black noir pretty much has very little emotions aside from his fear of soldier boy and the rage he feels towards him + the small acts of kindness he has shown to homelander and the child that he would qualify for the compassion ring.
