I use the old samurai layout with a few less storages in place of more honeycomb and instead of the wide gaps I just built around the base and made a shell with peaks out and me and my duo defended against a 4 mlrs strike/47 rocket raid

Nice base. Been looking for a solo base with a useable shooting floor. Not sure how I feel of the 2 sheet door entrance straight down to core though. Feel like the entrance should have been extended with more g doors.

Raid cost is the same through doors as walls. If you put 1 armored door on the front it's even more.

It’s definitely interesting design with a low tc. As a console an pc player. Some things won’t work on console. Don’t put roof triangles in your shooting floor towers it will block the peak downs. Just make it a jump up with no frame. Also placing vending machines like that in console will eliminate access to tc. You can slightly place inches from the door frame an flip it if you want access.

You didn’t place the tc right that’s why you can’t get it I have placed it multiple times and I’m console you are right about the roof triangles but try placing tc more carefully

It's not necessary. Only bunker that fits is the stairs bunker but you lose space in core and its not great.

You could add an offset bunker to core but it takes time to do all the twig, and if you arent playing facepunch official servers it could randomly seal itself forever

​@@CrowRustvery true as a result of learning this over a few wipes in 6 months I started putting a a extra bag Everytime I can get the bag to go blue so it doesn't count on my base bag timers I do like 4 and make atleast one compound bedroom as soon as I can.havent had a issue like this since. I know this is kinda "no shit Sherlock" type information but it's worth it to avoid the door campers and grubbers and save the time of having to farm a new base cause they went deep
