They're about in-line with other book Kickstarters I've seen! It's dependent on how much weight/stuff at the end of the day, but just the book itself (and even a few small add-ons) looks pretty solid, maybe $15-$25 based on tier. :)

Really excited for this one. I’ve been running Shadowdark for some of OSE (and previous 5e players) and they absolutely love it. It’s basically everything I love about OS/OSR games but with best mechanical inventions of the last 40 years. I think it’s safe to say it will become our go to Fantasy RPG.

I got the quickstart rules a few weeks ago, and Shadowdark is already a top contender for my next campaign (with the obligatory DM system hacks, because one does not simply DM OSR games without turning them into highly personalized bespoke RPGs). Can't wait for the kickstarter!

Looking forward to it, though one thing irks me about this trailer: that's possibly the worst position to hold a torch. You want those things high up to cast the light further, and you don't want to give yourself night blindness by looking right at it.

Hahahahaha! You are right about torch placement! We didn't want it to be high up and to the left off-camera, but that is the ordinary recommended position for torch use in the Shadowdark. ;)
