@@heathenpride7931 PvP vendors were sorta joke during BFA and legion, you could get far better equip far more easily in a lot shorter time doing M+, if you wanted to do PvP, you needed to run M+ to get gear, during previous expansion we had some equip makign sure that pvp gear was more useful during pvp activities (pvp rating, resilience, and now pvp trinkets increasing versatility effect), this new equip means that if you are pure pvp player, you dont really need to go to m+ anymore, you also couldnt buy it during BFA - you would get random item

Would you mind, provided you read this six months on, explaining those stupid reasons for someone who never played WoW please? I openly admit I’m a FF14 player who became curious during the great WoW refugee influx. I’ve read enough lore that I basically understand most of Azeroth but there are gaps due to how huge it’s been for 18 years. The funny thing is if I’d tried WoW instead of FF11 in the year or two before mists of Pandaria I’d have probably really enjoyed it. The story and lore seemed great back then.

@Bloo Berri The Titan one makes a bit more sense than most. For one, we had really strong artifact weapons and two the Titan was weak after milennia of torture and three we had the other Titans aiding us. Although for N'Zoth and the Jailer there really is no such excuse. This is coming from a person who really liked the Ny'alotha raid and especially the N'Zoth fight but even I can say that they did him dirty. N'Zoth might be the weakest Old God that we know but like you said, he was the strongest creature on Azeroth and could see all possible futures. You're telling me he didn't have a contingency plan for if the timeline goes down the path where he dies? He was really just betting on corrupting us specifically and if that doesn't work then, oh well? To be honest I really liked the Jailer at the start of Shadowlands but by the time the last patch rolled around and he'd barely gotten any screen time or lore, I just quit playing Shadowlands because of how horribly he was written. That is to say, I never actually fought the Jailer in the Sepulcher but the fact that there's no explanation aside from the fact that we could resist his Domination magic (literally just copy/pasting N'Zoth's whole thing minus madness) has really made me lose hope in the writing team altogether.

If i recall, the Bronze Dragonflight (forgot in which patch and which quest) actively mention that the Azeroth in WoW is the "darkest timeline world" that's full of so much absurd bullshit that only the most psychotic, power hungry, violent maniacs can thrive in it (aka the players, a hilarious meta jab), and all other timelines in WoW are utopias in comparison. This was done in order to make the most ridiculously powerful/violent force to take on and defeat the Legion, who if destroyed in one timeline get wiped out from all others. They even comment on how it's shocking that Garrosh became what he became since in all other timelines, he'd a good friend to Jaina and they successfully made world peace. In other words...yeah, WoW's Azeroth is basically a murderhobo hellscape so horrifying that only its "champions" are violently insane enough to thrive and enjoy it.

Like everyone says, Pull your heart of azeroth into the trash can and replace it with a cool necklace with a socket which you can put yourself a HP regen Gem, Movement Speed or even a secondary stat one. @@varino3870 pvp gear was pretty much near the same level as PvP and it was with some "tricks" easy to get in ashran ( i LOVED ashran). got my warri from 0-100 in 7 hrs, got HC raid gear in that time aswell from ashran pvp gear. Not the best gear/stats, but enough to go to casual raid. Right now Conq gear is so hard timegated, at the time when u have maybe 5~ items without vault, the PvE dues outgear you as hell, that means, PvE gear will mostly outgear PvP items in PvP aswell.
