Great 'end to end' coverage Nick and a nice little 'promo' for Stratford..... even spotted myself at Henley on the return (with tripod under footbridge). A nice performance from 4965, she sounded on top form. Regards, Brian.

Thank you Brian!. A great day out for us, and being pulled by Rood Ashton Hall to Stratford, brilliant! Steam on this line from Snow Hill to Stratford is just fantastic. Used to train spot at Yardley Wood in the sixties, and catch excursions from Snow Hill to Weston Super Mare by steam with family when very young, along this line to Stratford and beyond. My only other trip (apart from the Shakey) over the NW was in a brake van on a loose coupled train with a Hall on the front when hitching a ride back from Gloucester in the early 60's! Like you Nick I remember starting many holidays from P7 at Snow Hill, Brian.

VT Really not allowing any window hanging now or were people by windows with just their arms out.

Was just wondering if they still allowed it as the last tour I did with VT was in March 2015 and they had no problem with window hanging but since the WCRC spad incident was told they'd banned it but unsure if this was true.
