The story of how Shakespeare ended up in South Dakota is an interesting one. It all began with a group of passionate gardeners who wanted to create a beautiful outdoor space that celebrated the works of the famous playwright. They decided to create a garden in Wessington Springs, a small town in the heart of South Dakota.
The garden was designed to showcase the plants and flowers mentioned in Shakespeare's plays and sonnets.
Today, the garden is maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers who continue to honor Shakespeare's legacy and share his works with new generations.
