Yeah, I did the same with attack speed W and attack power. Then I met a Shaman who maxed out E and magic damage. It was GG for me. In PVP, it is not possible to get all of the 5 stacks

Yeh i heard of max E shamans literally one-shotting people. It's crazy! I wish i'd had the time to try it but once you commit to a path then you're pretty much stuck with it until much later as i dont think you can respec your ability choices (at least i didn't see anything that allows that - only mastery and passives)

Very nice video. You got a point. It looks like E skill for shaman is like mid late game option were You level as autoattacker with W passive boof and wolf and leater with proper amount of Mastery points You can switch to E with no cooldawn or something. Overall i like shaman he have at least those 2 builds. Maybe support with totems and maybe some stronger version of wolf like offtank :)

I got to 12 on my shaman. I did not put any points into the lightning. i maxed steroids and attack damage. but in group play, I couldn't even approach monsters to do damage with out dying over and over again. We fought the wooden deer and dendroid bosses in a group of 4. I couldn't even melee, because the threat table is continuously wiped, the bosses ceaselessly use special attacks, and even changed targeting direction mid cast/telegraph of specials, resulting in one shots. Micromanaging the wolf in a boss fight with the 2 second command cooldown did not work. I couldn't keep the wolf from getting instantly oneshot. I tried vampirism on pathfinder. It doesn't work. at best when your shaman melees hit for 100, it heals for 9. And wolf scouts hit you for 143 damage. in a 3 pack you are just dead, vampirism ends up being useless. meanwhile the blast medic in the group was hitting for over 7000 per shot and kiting and not taking any damage. basically carried the group and soloed the bosses. Forget getting the 5 stacks to cast the totem. And since you are kiting constantly, in the situations where i could cast it, the group had to move out of the area of effect. healing for 26 hp was not worth standing still and losing your entire hp bar. MAYBE in T3 gear a shaman could get enough tank stats on top of spellpower to provide SOME support. BUT a blast medic doesnt need support. in min/max groups you would always just take another ranged class over the shaman. I did experience extreme lag during group play, making melee even worse, but that should be fixed with better server support in the future. I did get the 4 attacks with 100% mastery, but the attack speed was nowhere near what I thought it would be, and ended up being lackluster at best. OVERALL, I would NOT play shaman again in its current state. 0/10.

I don't think I've spoken to anyone who thought the shaman was worth playing. I'll be surprised if we see many shamans in the next test!

Verry interesting spec but very hard as it is hybrid and needs everything on stats, also need a rework on passiv, I think it would be good if wolf would add passive too

Yeh I think if they want to keep the passive as it is, they need to add more ways to boost the passive stacks.

I was very disappointed when playing it because it felt like it was almost a shaman from wow but without what made it good. The stacking buff should only enhance your abilities meaning the W should be usable without it but the buff just makes it last longer or have a stronger effect. Q having such a long cast time doesn't feel good. Cut it in half possibly id say and reverse the effect with the talent and instead give u attack speed base and talent into armor pen later W should be usable without needing 5 stacks at a smaller effect or duration like I said above E should be chain lightning base, and the enhanced effect would make it enhance your auto attacks with lightning after cast so that you're doing magic damage in your auto attacks R should help u stack with every 3 autos the wolf does, possibly interacting with your auto attacks. And possibly have a talent to allow for attack speed buff on it as well Special should diminish over time 1 by 1 every 15 seconds and everytime that you use the 5 stacks it should keep your attack speed at the +25% for the next 3-5 seconds It feels bad to spend special because you lose attack speed. It feels bad to use almost any other totem than healing when fighting things at your level or higher. The pet summons feels bad because it kills things before u can spend stacks and tanks ur hp on death.

except the times im playing PvE solo. You're missing the point im making. Its advantageous to do less damage and get more autos, which is counterintuitive but is the optimum way to play with the current balance of the spec.

BRO, you massacred the shaman,...... i reached lvl 10 solo as Shaman... maxed E > Q, w only x1 and i didnt even use it cos its SHIT ( removes your passive stacks).....

@@BlackoutGamingChannel im saying you get to use 3 Es before you have enough stacks for the last E to be instant cast. But waiting for 15x auto attacks just to use totem is not worth! They need to fix that why all spell usable without stacks, totem need all stacks... or make the totem have HP= stacks used for it

Ah I got ya! Yeh it seems that the E build was by far the optimum one for the shaman for sure. They Def need to do something about the passive and how it generates/uses stacks. I don't know if you saw but the stacks used to take 5 hits each! How insane would that have been?!

@@BlackoutGamingChannel absolutely! Sadly I only reached lvl 10 solo play so I was not able to test out that much at endgame (lvl 15). It sure as hell was BIG TIME Fun even with the whole buggy stuff and 403s non stop 🤣
