I have been lucky finding knives on Craig’s , do person to person deal at local police or sheriffs office.

And how long will it stay sharp ????
@the.sharpestedge2 ай бұрын
Hello, my friend. Thank you for your question. The Camillus CQB1 by Robert Terzuola was produced in both ATS34 by Hitachi (Japan) and 154CM by Crucible (USA). The CUDA(ATS34) and CQB1(154CM) marked blades. 154 CM steel contains 15% chromium and 4% molybdenum, while ATS 34 steel contains 14% chromium. ATS 34 steel can be tempered at or above 1000°F, which makes it very hard and wear-resistant, but also less tough and corrosion-resistant. Both ATS 34 and 154 CM steel have good edge retention. So, how long will 154CM stay sharp? Being that it is tougher, more corrosion-resistant, it has been dubbed a super steel by many knifemakers. With my personal experience as both an end user and a former business owner(retired) in the industry, It holds an edge extremely well. These knives have been tested and utilized in the most hostile environments by military and other special operations professionals alike. This particular blade is still utilized and is highly sought after by them to this day which in itself speaks volumes. But adding my two cents, like any other blade, it can also depend on usage and proper care/maintenance by the end user. Thank you for your question, and have a wonderful weekend 😎👍🇺🇲
