The Sheringham Lifeboats

From the two private lifeboats to the establishment of an RNLI station in the town, through to the current high-speed boat and the heritage retained in the town museum, the story is told in this video made in 2010. The rowing and sailing boats, the wartime years and the transfer from an offshore to an inshore boat are recalled, where possible with the help of those who served on the lifeboats.
