This is the final episode of the Jujutsu Kaisen shibuya incident arc. The shibuya incident final episode. After gojo was sealed, we seen seen Choso return and it was Choso vs geto/kenjaku. Right when Uraume was going to take out everyone, Yuki Tsukumo made her return and saved Yuji. Kenjaku released over 10 million cursed spirits. The long awaited return of Yuta. Yuta returns to fight Yuji. Next up is the culling games arc.

With regards to Gojo getting declared to have been working with "Geto" and what not, that's just an excuse. The higher ups are exiling him and making trying to free him a crime solely because Gojo was sealed. Even if "Geto" wasn't using that body, they'd come up with some other excuse. Gojo's been a pain in their assess ever since he was a teenager. He's been supporting people that the higher ups would rather see in a grave and interfering wherever he sees fit. He may be willing to play their games up to a point, but everyone knows when it gets to that point Gojo plays his winning trump card; "Do what I say or I kill you." And then the higher ups of the Jujutsu World gotta knuckle down and do what he says. Because what are they gonna do? It's Gojo. Best they could manage is bleed on him. Maybe ruin his shoes. But now he's sealed and the first thing they start doing is taking out his supporters and reinstating death penalties for people like Yuji.

Tbh most of the fatalities were because of Megumi and Yuji. Yuji be throwing cars at Yuta to escape only to have them sent back at him with twice the power behind them, can't wait for that. As effed up as the animators situation is in Mappa, I hope we get one more episode just for that fights conclusion to be the cliff hanger. Gotta have Big bro Choso thinking that line bout Yuji after he deals with all those curses that try jumping him at the end of the last episode. Yuji bodying all them curses with nothing but his signature "Left, right; Goodnight" technique will be a glorious start to the episode.

Can you blame him? When he was in the exact same position he was also ok with it and also because Itadori’s still alive hundreds of people died, Shibuya got destroyed, and Inumaki lost his arms (He is Yuta’s friend, and you know he would do anything for them). The risk for getting rid of Sukuna a once and for all is understandably too high for many, including him. Hell in other stories the “let’s bring the dark lord back so we can permanently beat him but also kill a bunch of people in the process” are blatantly painted as the bad guys

One of the biggest reasons why there are 10 million curses now is because of gojo being sealed, earlier in the season it stated that gojo’s birth shook the balance of cursed spirits and since he’s gone these curses can run rampant as they please this is also partially the reason we see yuta coming back just to keep the balance of cursed spirits under control

Basically, what Kenjaku did was make contracts with sorcerers over the course of 1000~ years. Then he used cursed spirit manipulation to either awaken those he made a contract with within someone’s body so that they can take over them, like Yujis situation with sukuna, or awaken/enhance the abilities of people like junpie. The 10 mil thing is just the amount of cursed spirits he release to cause chaos and occupy yuki long enough for them to escape.

Fake Geto has made contracts with millions of cursed spirits and sorcerers over a thousand years by making them into cursed items (like Sukuna's fingers). There is a point where he unties a knot and releases the binding on those items causing them to be released. Since Fake Geto is now in Geto's body any conditions which are apart of his deal with the cursed spirits no longer apply due to the curse spirit manipulation technique and therefore they are released on mass.

From my understanding it seems that the 10 million curses released are due to a combination of Getou's released curses and the populations leaked cursed energy due to the shibuya incident where large portions of the city was levelled including the financial district. Similarly i think that the curses released/activated by sukuna's fingers probably play a small role in the number of curses released in Tokyo.

3:08 Geto used up all his curses between the night parade and fighting Yuta, but Kenjaku picked up where Geto left off and it's implied he is MUCH better at collecting curses than Geto. That's also why Kenjaku said that Geto wouldn't have lost to Yuta if he hadn't split up his curses and Geto's uzamaki combined all of his remaining curses into one final attack
