I can relate to this. Regardless of how cool other people's pokemon were I never had the heart to abandon my Bibarel who I caught as my first ever pokemon in Pokemon Platinum. Quite frankly this is a very powerful video for any Gardevoir fan mostly because of the pokemon itself. The entire Ralts line can sense the emotions of people and their trainers so the moment after she tried to make herself appear more desirable to her trainer it backfired and the moment after his scolding she could sense every positive emotion he had towards her and only then she realizes that shes already perfect for him. Awesome video Dango.

I mean I like both regular and shiny Gardevoir but something about the green one is iconic and more pleasant to look at imo. He shouldn't even be oogling at the tall shiny Gardevoir because he has a loving and tall beautiful Gardevoir who cares about him, she even tried to please him by colouring herself blue which was adorable, though he showed that he cared about his Gardevoir and that she'll always be important to him shiny or not. No one is perfect the way they are. That leads to a very narcissistic outlook. Many people are great the way they are. However, everyone has room for improvement, no matter how gradual it is. Most importantly, it should be based on who you are rather than trying to be fake, so that it remains a strong foundation of character.

Be your authentic self who can improve as your authentic self. You are perfect in that you are you for you, not because of jealousy that causes you to disingenuously try to emulate someone else. Be inspired to improve yourself for your benefit, and don’t be fake. Your positive traits are what make you be the “perfect” version of you. @@JellyAntz well, I find it easier to not use confusing terms like "perfect but not actually perfect, just your real self being worthwhile". Better to reserve words doe their actual meaning. Because what's worse is telling someone with legitimate concerns about themselves that they're perfect and devaluing their hope to improve their situation, because you can't go anywhere from perfect. Yeah, this is a positive message and video, and just a clarifying statement. It isn't meant as a dig or anything.
