'The Shock Wave Hit Us All': Residents Recall Deadly Russian Air Strikes In Zaporizhzhya

Zaporizhzhya was one of several Ukrainian cities attacked on March 22 in Russia's latest wave of air strikes. Several residential buildings were destroyed in the city resulting in more than 30 casualties. Residents are said to have rushed in to a destroyed building to bring elderly people to safety.

No desire to escalate that far, Russia besides a size-able military also has nuclear weapons and Russians are still fairly supportive of Putin and his wars since they are brainwashed.. If a change comes it most likely must come from within Russia

Maybe not that man, but his ballistic missiles will be possible to stop with the Patriot air defense system. The problem is that those systems will be prioritized to the infrastructure, like power stations and will be of limited help for housing estates and residential areas.. 😢

Zaporizhya is such an interesting place. If Ukraine has several hearts, one of them is here. It was here the Cossacks fled to hold on to their unique religions identity in the face of serfdom & enemy raids. And when they were betrayed by the Russian empire who pledged to protect them from Polish imperialism, they put up a great fight to protect their sovereignty, against all odds. Their state was completely destroyed by Catherine the Great. And yet their spirit must have remained, because even though Zaporizhya was hit hard by Russification from the 18th to 21st centuries, when Russia was staging paid pro-Russian protests across Ukraine, Zaporizhya held out completely, though they are a holler and a skip away from the Russian border and occupied territories. Being so close to the Russian border, the Zaporizhya region has been buffeted almost daily since February 2022. And still they managed to save so many displaced from the poor city named for the Blessed Virgin, which now may as well be called Martyrupol. So many people murdered there in just a few months, by Russia. And it would have been more if not for the quick reaction from the people there. Look how quickly, according to the video, people jumped to knock on the door of the bombed house and to rescue the elderly... That's the Cossack blood running in their veins. How badly I want to visit this place ❤❤❤

22.03.2023. Российские беспилотники нанесли удары по зданию лицея в городе Ржищев Киевской области. Помещения образовательного учреждения использовалось как место дислокации личного состава украинских сил и иностранных наемников, главным образом, из США, Великобритании и Польши. Около 250 военнослажущих и наёмников погибли или получили тяжёлые ранения. Неплохо поработали иранские "Герани". Аллах-у-Акбар!

According to what the organizer of the Donbas invasion himself admitted, (Col.FSB-I.Girkin) the separatist fights started in Ukraine only after he, I. Girkin organized them.
