So all the manipulation, the hate, unfairness, people getting on the final line up or being eliminated, I don't have the right words to explain. Deep inside they are people trying to live a dream, human beings with feelings, in the public eye and so exposed at all the medias. Having lived throught all of this sometimes feels unreal. I'm a Moa but I was not at all interested in watching the program or vote, why would I? I barely had time to keep up with the groups that I already staned. The only thing I was going to do for her was wishing her luck and that's it. But sadly what brought me to check on her was the insanely amount of hate she was getting. She was only announced and people had already antagonized her. They didn't even give her a chance so I did. I watched her video presentation for the show and she simply enchanted me. I watched the show and voted for her because I really really liked HER. I became protective of her because of all of the hate she got and I still follow her not because she is Kai's sister but because I really want to support HER.

I'm very proud of Bahiyyih for being so strong. What she is going through is hard even for adults imagine being a teenager and having to face all the cyber bullying and hate. She is talented and she deserved her position as a Kep1er member. Having little to almost zero professional idol training she actually did so well for a self learned trainee, and even tho she got almost zero screen time on the show, whenever she was on screen we could see her growth and potential. Yes, I'm a MOA and at first I watched the show purely because she was a contestant and I wanted to see Huening kai's sister, then as I kept watching and followed the show I could see her potential and charm, but the thing which made me stan her was her growth and her attitude regarding whatever was going on. Of course being the sister of a top idol had some benefits but it is also very burdening imagine the pressure, she knows that all eyes are on her whether it be the netizens, viewers, haters or the other contestants she knows they are judging her. It must've been so tough for her. But she never gave up instead she kept on working hard and improving. Being under a sibling's shadow is hard people discredit your hard work but now she is shining own her own as HUEINING BAHIYYIH and creating a name for herself. I'm very proud of her and I wish her all happiness and success.

Hard disagreement there. She is popular and got her spot because of her brother. People will support even if they don’t think she’s good just because they like/support her brother. And I think that why many people have hate towards her. Because to many who watched the show from start to finish you can see many trainees better than her. Not that she isn’t good but it simply wasn’t her time yet. She needed/needs more training. With clc and cherry bullet members talking about their members on the shows is understandable. These are groups on which their company either gave up on them or doesn’t do a good job of promoting them so this is their 2nd chance. You can’t compare her to them. For her? Like the video said not once during the whole show did she give the audience something to make them vote for her especially not 2nd place worthy. See i disagree with the whole aspect ‘not once during the show did she give the audience a reason to vote for her’ because that simply isnt true. She gave many reasons for ppl to vote for her from her displaying stable vocals in ‘fiesta’ or her dance/facial expressions in ‘ice cream’ and showing her kind personality in different situations in the show such as telling everyone to compliment yujin ect. Funny thing is that many of those cards (for the mass voting) were actually old pictures for I-land contestants fanbases. You can tell that people only wanted to hurt her because the pictures even had watermarks and notes with the names of the ilanders the were destined for, literally.

I was kind of monitoring her growth from gp999 (didn't even vote) til now and I got myself stuck in the hiyyih hole. I can't stop searching her fancams for real 🤧. I think she's really captivating and whenever I watch their performance I can't help but follow her, my eyes kept following her. It's hard to be a public figure and I think she's ready for that. It's interesting that with the little amount of screentime that Mnet gave Hiyyih if you see the show now her final rank will be surprising but it's a little different if you lived throught it. It was not only that her fancams were always so popular, she was also getting attention on tiktok and Twitter. People were being hateful towards her but there were others that saw the hate she was getting as the irrational thing it was. Her fans, strangers to the program and her haters constantly talked about her and for better or worse that atention boosted her name. With time hiyyilights grew very protective of her. Also many don't take into account the voting system now but voters were actually forced to vote for multiple contestants until the very end when the single vote took place, that's why her rank raised so much at the very end. Sadly, many girls were fillers for voting and that's why the final line-up ended up being different of what people expected form previous rankings. These "shocking" results not only hurt Hiyyih but it also was bad for all members of Kep1er since some people that were sure their pick were going to debut didn't made it and therefore they felt cheated on and label the girls as a weak lined-up out of anger (uncounsiouly, or counsiously wheter they admit it or not) This could be a little controversial but I do believe that with so many girls at the beginning you liked what Mnet wants you to like. Most of the final girls on the program were given praises since the very beggining or a full storyline to follow. Mnet does have a saying in how the contestants are viewed( "Evil edititing" is not a term without reason). With time you are less susceptible to this as the number of contestants is reduced but still the first impression is very important. What happened with Hiyyih is that her storyline is not portrayed on the show at all, everything surrounded her was taking place outside the episodes. Mnet didn't give her anything beyond mentioning her brother in the first episode (she recieved a lot of hate for that), hell even in the end when there were only 18 girls they kept her screentime to the minimum and if you don't believe me just watch it, everyone was getting an emotional moment with their family or with each other but her. It was actually very dissapointing and frustrating. Side note: It was so obvious, for the ones that were paying attention, that mnet didn't wanted her that even many took her final ranking as proof that the votes where not manipulated because they wouldn't let her be that high. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that mnet did play and important part in this "untalented/ undeserving" image that some still have or once had of her. She is totally deserving of all the love and support that she has and I just wish people stop hating on her for no reason.

She got attention from her brother, that's true, but you shouldn't discredit her talents. Although she's not in the top 10 of the most talented in the show, she got the skills, charm and personality to pull people in and make them stay. You cannot change that fact. Many people loses interest because they can't feel the same sparks anymore, that happened to me once, but that's not the case for hiyyih. She kept on improving every episode and showed her potential so her fans stayed. Her fanbase keeps on growing since that show. You also cannot discredit her fans' dedication and hardwork by saying she got in just because of her brother. Another point is that, the haters are also the reason why she debuted. I'm a 2nd and 3rd gen kpop fan so I don't really know or care about 4th gen groups but the haters make me watched that show and indirectly made me stan hiyyih. I always wonder if they are dancers or singers or what gives them the impression that they are the ultimate judge of what talent is and looks like. I don't know if in English there's actually a saying like in my native language but translating it would be something like: you don't have to be a baker to say if a bread is good or not. Imo it's like that also there. You don't have to be a professional dancer/singer to say that someone is talented or skilled. You should accept that there were girls on the show who were better dancers/singers than Bahi, it's not even an opinion but a fact. She lacks quite a lot in terms of skills but she's really talented and has a potential. @@doedside Here's the thing, I can say when someone doesn't sing well if they keep going out of tune constantly. I can tell when someone doesn't dance well if they are visible stiff or so. And I can tell when a cake isn't good if is hard or dry or just taste like shit. But if two girls are able to follow the same choreography, sing the same songs and overall do the same performance I wouldn't dare to say who did it better though I could say who I liked the most. The same with cakes, if both are properly baked I won't tell which one is better, rather I could tell which one I like the most. All the girls in the program must have been talented enough to pass the audition, all of them were great, some were given a lot of time to shine, some leave before we could see more of them and others were simply not shown enough. Based on that I could tell you who I liked the most but not even for a single moment I would dare to say that one of them were more deserving than the others because that would be coming just from my personal taste. People who says this kind of things speaks as if they were saying an universal truth or a fact when they are actually not. If you liked someone else better that's ok (even though we should really question the necesity they seem to have of expressing their preferences on videos of her creating a not so positive environment instead of I don't know videos actually dedicated to the ones their prefer) what is not ok is speaking as if you are being unbiased because most of the time you are actually not.

One of the things that made me the most upset, was right after the finale of GP999, when a bunch of people created a petition to remove Bahiyyih from the debuting group. It shouldn't be a surprise that she debuted tbh her name trended on twitter every Friday during the airing of girls planet 999 haters were tuning in to find something to rationalize their hate for her and that causes a lot of people to know her and support her. I think people have to acknowledge that *survival shows are NOT about talent. They are about popularity.* The most popular will be voted in. Whether that popularity comes from skill, previous fanbase, beauty, personality... it doesn't matter. All that matters in the end is who gets the most votes to win a spot in the top 9. Bahiyyih is the living proof that mnet did not rig the show. Mnet did not want her in but she still managed to get the most votes in the show & was No.1 in 115 countries with minimal screen time. *That's clear proof that the voting system was not manipulated.* Which is a good thing for mnet (not so much Bahi) because people were cautious of the transparency of mnet shows and now its harder to argue otherwise. Also, a group member that "isn't as talented as the rest" in a survival show group is not a new thing. The same thing happened in I.O.I & IZ*ONE which are former mnet survival shows. Watching this video to understand why and how people hate her, on so many Kep1er videos I only read positive comments about her and that she don't deserved the hate so I confused about what hate. I also watched some fancams where the audience screamed the loudest when it she was singing even if she got the least amount of lines. The ridiculous thing is that most of the hate towards her is coming from Koreans, while they stan TXT. Like how can you like Kai, but then turn around and throw hate at his sister. Bahiyyih did the best she could on gp999 with the limited screen time they gave her. Mnet pushed certain contestants with all the screen time they got while Bahiyyih was given very little screen time and badly timed ending fairies on the camerman's part, not to mention that she still didn't get much screen time even towards the end of the show where there weren't that many contestants. So the fact that she could capture so many people's hearts even with the very little screen time she had, is more than enough proof that she deserved to debut with Kep1er. Many people came onto that show with fan bases they already had, so the hate towards Bahiyyih for having an advantage makes no sense; especially when there were literally former gg members there. Haters that tried to justify their hate by saying it was unfair because she had a fanbase or already had support look dumb, because so did Yujin, Bora, Yeseo, Su Ruiqi, all the former cherry bullets members, and even some other contestants were in other survival shows or ggs as kids or even in a show or movie and got fans from that. Also, if they wanted someone other than her to make it to Kep1er, it should at the very least be a Chinese contestant for more representation since Xiaoting is the only one while the J group already has 2.
