In the very last minute of extra time Dominic Adiyah made a powerful head into goal that would crown Ghana as the first african nation to reach the semifinals of a World Cup.
It would be a tremendous feat but Luis Suarez was determined to prevent it by any means necessary.
In the end, their historic World Cup run would end in that quarter final bout, but the Black Stars had made a massive statement with their performance and the future looked brighter than ever.
But as history would tell us, that game would be the peak of Ghanaian football as in the 14 years that followed Ghana has completely self destructed.

Ghana is truly one of the most underrated african sides. They were much more fun to watch than Morocco, that only played defensively.
