Ian you have away of pulling information out of people to help them find a deeper worth about themselves. Most of your podcast are so uplifting it’s truly a gift. I’m 67 an was the V. P. Of operations until I retired. I myself have done plenty of public speaking and been to many lectures. You really have the it factor. Wow

I know exactly what it’s like starting on your own with no connections and no help. in my line of work where a lot of the successful people have connections and help from family. I don’t have any of that so I relate a lot to Nick. But I work harder then anyone in my business

I like the fact that they speak upon Juveniles being lockup. A lot of people don't understand have to do juvenile detention first. Then, the process starts programs after program. Once you become an adult state # is issued. Juvenile detention don't get the respect like that.

I spent 6-1/2 yrs in NY state prison starting at 19 and was it wild. Washington and Greene correctional were youth prisons mostly youth and I saw my first tag getting off the transit. I got some stories for ya ,like a dude losing half his face over a frying pan.

I went to Rikers at 17. At intake a White CO was going through my clothes and pockets while i was in that cold ass shower. I forgot i had some money in the pocket. He goes come here, whats this. As i was standing there soaking wet naked he smacks me in the face with his black leather gloves. Thats when i knew what i was in for and prepared myself mentally. This fat kid i came in with was washing peoples clothes and i was there fighting every day.
