One of the greatest Videos I've ever seen my friend... Yes, that's a hard call. I got it twice and today I've been healthy for 6 straight years. However my wife just got that call before Christmas so we are going down that road once again. My Sister got the call, My father, and also my Mother also got that call. Mom and Dad are no longer here in body but will always be here in Spirit. There's a connection out on the land you get no where else, you are never alone out there, the ancestors are always watching over you.... I've already been pronounced dead once in this lifetime, next time that happens to me I hope I'm in late 90's or older and I'm in the woods with my boots on.... Thank-you for sharing. Love your channel and attitude Brother... Perhaps one day we could go on an adventure together.

@ChuckPorterEverythingOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Charlie. I am aware of your situation at the moment and I’m sure you will be an inspiration to your wife. I was asked if I wanted to ring the bell....I declined...My friend and I who were in the same boat at the same time agree that we will both go back and ring it when we are 80👍

Hope and a positive attitude go a long, long way. I'm soooooo glad I found you...you are such an inspiration for so many people. Bless you and live strong and long, my new friend.

I was a very successful tradesman and business owner for about 10 years, and I was suddenly told my kidneys were failing with no way to correct the problem - autoimmune disorder. I had to sell my business to one of my contractors, and slowly over the last 8 years I have become more and more home bound due to the rigors of neuropathy that has set in. I loved being in the outdoors fishing and hunting. Just got blessed with a new grandson, and I will have to watch him do these things from the grandstands. I can empathize with what you went through. I know this video was hard to make, and I thank you for sharing. You want to leave something of yourself behind. Man, do I get that.

I just came across your channel Chuck, I like your content and have subscribed. I was one of the KZbin outdoor community who did the 'Show us Your Steak' Video. I worked for many years as a mental health counsellor and clinician with children youth and adults. I worked a lot with men around their challenges in talking about personal emotional stuff so I take my hat off to you for opening up in the public domain and I know your words will provide encouragement to others. Despite being a 'professional' in this field of work it has not given me privilege or exemption from life challenges particularly in my extended family, also, to some degree, with my own trauma. Indeed, for many years I have understood and promoted the healing that can be found out there in Mother Nature. I wish you Good Luck, Good Health and Happiness, kind Regards, Chris.

Dear Sir. Found your video's on snow blowing by chance! Just popped up on the side of the screen and I said " That snow blower is bigger than mine" I have to check it out! My wife and I received that "CALL" 6 months ago. Like you said, it's like your world drops in its place. We picked ourselves off, wiped away the tears and got ready for the fight of our lives. Today we love more, care more and look at life in a new way.Not easy but hearing you makes it like we were not the only ones that feel/felt this way. Thank you for your video's , this is only the 3rd one I've watched tonight and can't wait to watch more!!!!!!!

My wife is battling a disease similar to what you have battled. We are in our second round of treatments and she has had three major surgeries. It has been life-changing but one foot in front of the other and setting an example for our three boys to follow when things get tough in life. All of us are going to through times that none of us ever anticipated. Your video demonstrates great character for your children to mimic and follow. When we leave this earth money doesn't come with us but our legacy is left for others to admire and respect. What an awesome video. I have watched ever single video for the exact reasons you described. I have shared with my wife in the dark days of treatment and it is something we both enjoy together. Out of all the youtube videos I have watched over the years this is the first message I have ever left. God's Peach to you and your family. Keep on keepin on!

I'm watching this video on 1/18 because I just got home from a 4-day hospital stay where my wife had a sarcoma surgically removed from her thigh. We started this journey back in May with chemo, followed by radiation. Now it's out and the healing begins (first by learning to walk again). She already had a sarcoma tumor (and radiation) removed from the same leg back in 2013. She is a survivor X 2. I don't need a saw Chuck. I'm just extremely happy that you are a survivor who makes great videos. Congratulations and keep them coming. It's pretty easy to see that this was a difficult video for you to shoot, and I'm certain that you are glad that it is behind you. Let me say: you knocked it out of the park. God bless.
