I have had an aunt who has been struggling with such issues as f alcohol but for her her husband left and her daughters don’t think highly of her -you know no love lost thing. One day she goes missing and people panic and we have a search for her … and she is brought back to her place by a randomn guy drunk and dramatic cause she threatened to pay herself the ultimate price here and there why I am saying this is, the police had every right to say these things to the public to mean that it is a matter of urgency - unfortunately people make choices that lead then to some situations that needs to be handles as situations : and in all due respect, once doubt of mental health exists, there is no assurance without true Forensics of harm or otherwise. To anyone still alive, please handle your life with care so as not to allow your family and loved ones to suffer this much… May she rest in peace

They can criticize all they want, in cases like this the spouse is ALWAYS looked at as a possible suspect. Suck it up and deal with it. And it's clear her dog did fall into the water, those pictures clearly show a muddy, wet dog. She accidentally fell into the river.

This is a strange case even though she was eventually found by no other than a physic.Even if she fell in no one found her for 21 days after a extensive search of the river by professionals, cadaver dogs ,drones etc.The river itself has very shallow areas which would seem impossible to pass.The fact that Willow didn,t follow her into the river is also very strange since we see pictures of her in the river.Nicki was a swimmer as well.Then theres the phone on the bench but thr harrness is on the ground .If she was to place the phone on thr bench why not sit the harness on the bench.If she was going to put Willows harness on why wouldn,t she take advantage of the bench to sit on to put the harness on.Also the fact we never see the wittnesses who say they saw her.I could go on but there are to many unaswered questions.

if you asked me, it could be anything really - police say nothing out of the ordinary Forensics to report so could be she fell, slid, jumped, anything really but question of mental health casts a very wide net over her moments because these are moments we have seen in movies as well os stories for some people out there like Nicola n Family

@Sarah Penton - Stewart what was in the water bottle? Plenty of people sneak booze into bottles to hide their addiction, even while dog-walking. Being fit won't save you if you're drunk and slip into the water, hitting your head and drowning. You also aren't protected from inhaling water just because you were making plans for the future. None of your justifications go far in convincing me that no testing should be done to determine her blood alcohol level. It would have been a simple part of the autopsy, even in semi-advanced decay.

anyone with an ounce of intelligence can see this was not an accident,,,in the interview that started this vid that officer stated that they ‘the police’ didn’t know how Nicola had got from her home to the village ? They thought ‘on foot’ ,,,, her words,,,, My problem with this is ; I’m no doubt correct in assuming that the call to the police or the first face to face interaction would have revealed that Nicola had DRIVEN her children to school ,, that would have SURLY been mentioned,,, so what does this officer mean by that statement ? Does it mean that Nicola DID go home after dropping off the kids ? The fact that a body could disappear in that river for all that time and not be found ,, in a section of less than a mile,,,, the amount of people (searchers,police ,,locals) at the area daily ,,the other items that were not found ,,, The small amount of witnesses,, no school video,, every day those children were dropped off at school so to say NO MUMS OR THE SCHOOL stepped forward to mention seeing Nicola? The ‘none existent’ camera footage of Nicola walking the trail ,, coincidence or not that the first camera on that road was at the grapes pub ,, The ridiculous 500/700 cars that apparently drove that road that morning and NO dash cam footage,,, ALL those cars and not one had a dashcam ? To say that amount of vehicles passed that way in the time frame is beyond,,, plus the journey from her home to the village and still no dashcam footage? The interview with the fella walking his dog who said he didn’t know Nicola,,, if anyone lied he definitely did,,, I could go on ,,, I’ve always had a feeling that Nicola didn’t pass that day…
