JAMES 7:22- "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name? ' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; leave from my sight, you workers of lawlessness." The gift of prophecy was given to the apostles to help identify the true Christian church. The gifts of prophesying, speaking in tongues and healing were only temporary. The gifts ended when the apostles died. The holy scriptures warn us that ANYONE who claims to have the gift of prophesy AFTER the apostles were gone, is a fraud, and gains... if any ability... from Satan, who utilizes that person to mislead MANY! Be forwarned.
