The guy found out he had a terminal illness. Everything still go on (party) while he stops and realizes his fate. Pain hits the people close to him (the girl). He then proceed to make peace with his illness (the large veiny organ at 4:19).

+Lou OkayYo Your theory makes sense, but I feel that the video is more about the effects of being under the influence of heavy drugs and how they effect each person differently. For example in the very beginning of the video the guy asks the girl if she is ready or if she "wants to do it", or in other words if she is sure about wanting to try this drug. Then we see the guy at the party just looking into the water while everyone else's faces are distorted which is a common side effect while you are under the influence, also when the guy's nose begins to bleed is another very common effect of heavy drugs. At the end we see the guy heading towards this object which symbolizes how his effects were more emotional. Then we have the girl which the effects of the drugs are more physical. We see her walking around this house and she is laughing, but then she looks at her arm and she hallucinates it bubbling and she begins to panic and now she begins to scream. Then we see her floating above the pool, which is what she Imagines is going on but then we see her coming out of the water which is back to reality. Lastly we see her on the roof which could symbolize an over dose or suicidal tendencies which are also very common with being under the influence.
