I have just finished shooting off the last of the mixy rabbits and hopefully that will give those not affected a better chance of a longer life. we are a camp site out of season and people like to see rabbits so we try keep them healthy.

Re FX rifle, Just use a smaller .25 magazine, I’m a lefty and that far less intrusive

I do the same thing with my squirrel feeders when I fill them, put a twig there to let them know how to open it. Stupid squirrels 😂

It looked like you had to push the next pellet in after a shot on the FX. Mine does the same, i have to tap the mag to get it lined up, or even take it out and put back in, anyone else have this problem or is it user error?

Yes there seems to be a little slack in the little probe bit that pushes pellets out the mag and sometimes this one doesn’t always align properly 🤔

I don't know about the legality in England, but we always carried a large spinning rod with a large topwater bass plug or a homemade dowel with hooks to retrieve ducks from the ice or water. Cast out beyond the duck then reel the plug up to the duck, a quick jerk and snag the duck, reel in slowly and no one gets soaked or falls through the ice.

Dangerous game shooting over ice, not worth the risk for man or dog. Sadly a chap I knew lost his life along with his shooting companion trying to rescue their dog. Not really sure we should be giving the thumbs up to this , hope people will steer clear. Stay safe👍
