Those welds aren't going anywhere! Probably also the strongest longitudinal part of the frame 😄 Do make sure to treat/coat those areas to prevent rust, pretty sure you know that already, and remove all the flashing if you're gonna do the whole frame. Is there a bed out there meant for shortened frames? How're you addressing/fitting that? Best of luck at MMA 👊🏼 👊🏼

Red Arrows MK3 yes I’m going to be painting it with por 15. And for the bed I’m using an 11-16 factory short bed which is 6.75’. Thanks!
