I watched a documentary about these guys about 12 years ago. They had one scene that f**ked me up forever. The scene was so brutally explained. I couldn't sleep for months after hearing it. members of shower posse drowned two babies in front of the mom/dad & the story was told first hand from the police officer that walked into the room to find it. He thought they were two small dolls on the kitchen counter, not realizing that someone had held both children under the water until they died, pulled them out & put them on the counter right in front of the mom/dad who were tied up & brutally murdered soon after the shower posse drowned those babies. TO THIS DAY, It was one of the most horrific things I ever heard.

It's not like in America, ain't no welfare cheques but someone can help send your child to school and University when u barely make enough to buy food. U wanna build a house and ur gifted a 1000 building blocks and cement. The government doesn't do that fam. People actually gave their lives for this man. Left their homes for all parts of the country to protest Dudus. That should give u an idea of how well respected he is. Only Don to be respected by both JLP and PNP

This is gonna sound stupid, so excuse me in advance, but as a foreigner I have a hard time understanding a few things. For example: - if your vote is secret, as it is, what stops people from just voting according to their own political leaning, instead of by pressure from gangs and political mobsters trying to forge identitary constituencies? - What is stopping other parties to rise and break the duopoly? If not to gain power, which is hard, at least to become sizable parliamentary minorities forcing the other two to negotiate or, who knows, even lose influence and elections. - does the Jamaican people not think like "this geographical sectarianism constructed by two parties is not beneficial to the country, as the last 60 decades clearly show and the worst gang related murder rate of the world proves, so regardless of my respect to the pioneers of independence and to social investments done in my neighborhood in the past I will not support the continuation of the madness and will either vote alternative options or just vote to one of the candidstes based on political agendas, not loyaly, thus fragmenting the sectarian system in place where entire areas are bought for vote" ? - the videos makes it seem that this is a Kingston reality. What about the rest of the country? Whether larger cities (Mobay, Port Antonio etc), medium size touristy towns (Ocho Rios, Negril etc) or the many rural countryside towns and villages, are they entangled in that too, and how? - if Jamaica is so divided by solid spheres of influence by parties and their gangs, what factor is actually defining elecions and causing results to swing? In other words, if party X managed to control most srras, how are they not always winning? How volatile are those areas, do they sometimes switch allegiances and change the vote expectation? - how is Seaga and the JLP not absolutely despised for knowingly have participated in the murder attempt of Bob Marley and for collaboration with the FBI to oppress Jamaican civil movements during the Cold War? (Though the first issue alone would make me imagine the end of any political group in Jamaica... But that's clearly not the case)
@jayc3614 Жыл бұрын
Seaga is despised but its the effect on business people look to. Many rastas supported manley because he came to power due to black power riots that changed the jamaican culture from self hating black suppracing to embracing themselces and empowering the people. Seaga was three generations of wealth while most blacks where three or two generations rwmoved from slavery at the time with only the rich / white or few with education and buainess. Many jamaicans just leave not because they hate jamaica but because they get tired of auffering to little benefot in there families. After seaga stopped leading the JLP many people saw an alternative to PNP and gave bruce a chance eapecially since he was similar to PNP philosophy in some ways

Why does America not have a functioning multi party system? Beyond two/three parties? Same reason Jamaica dont...like America Jamaica has a constitution but unfortunately like America because of everyday struggles alot of citizens are not abreast of their rights, not to mention the overwhelming percentage of uneducated citizens plus brain drain, combination for disaster. People are forced to vote based on where they live and when your poor in a slow system you can't just use your good credit score and move to another neighborhood. When gangsters threaten your mom n dad to sh**t you n your brother on yall way to school if they don't vote such and such. Most law biding Jamaicans can't own a g*n...most gangsters have the biggest g*ns. Who winning that argument?

I lived in LA from 1997-2004 and during that time I went up to Bakersfield about once a month maybe twice and I would stay over by UC Bakersfield and I seen some hot chicks there. I was staying at a hotel in that area and when I went out to dinner I would see some smoking hot chicks around. I don’t know if things had changed since then but I have to say Bakersfield was all right back then. Don’t get it twisted it definitely wasn’t LA or anything close to it because LA has some of the hottest females in the world. Mostly all of them are from somewhere else but that’s were a lot of them meet. I’ve lived all over the world and besides LA Montreal, Canada had some of the hottest women on the planet. Vancouver BC did also. The Canadians got something in that maple syrup that produces these smoking hot chicks. NYC of course became its like a LA. But Norway and Sweden had some of the hottest women I’ve ever seen. There were so many of them it was insane. If you like blonde hair,blue eyes,smoking hot bodies and they are not stuck up or think that they are better than you because they are beautiful then Scandinavia is the spot. It’s expensive to live there but if that’s what you get it’s worth it lol. When I lived there in the mid 90’s they had a TGI Fridays in downtown Oslo,the capital of Norway. During that time Europe didn’t have a bunch of American restaurants like they do now. They had McDonalds and shit like that. But in the states at TGI Fridays a cheeseburger with fries and 2 beers ,that’s what I would always order,would be about $20. In Oslo I paid $56 for it. The taxes there are very high but it’s a cool place. Medical is taken care of,schooling is taken care of. It’s crazy because most of my friends there had 2-3 masters degrees,it was insane. Anyway I know that I went of on a rant but I’m baked and got carried away.

Big up Swamp Stories too well done mini documentary as always 🇹🇹🇯🇲👏 💯
@Quest1luv Жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure that both Vivian and Charles informed on their peers. Vivian with the initial phone call, and then Charles once they were all arrested in the States. At least that's the understanding I have from the various tales told in regards to the Shower Posse. Also, 'Jim Brown' passed the torch off to 'Dudus' instead of 'Livity'. That's what had caused the initial strain between the two of them. Still, this was a pretty well-done mini-doc. I just wished he mentioned that Bob used to have both PNP and JLP "steppers" at his place on Hope Rd.

@@DE100ify Much appreciated brother. I'll definitely be sure to google Charles 'Little Nut' Miller. I am aware of his informant status, but not to the full extent. As for Vivian Blake, I still think it's debatable. I'm not too sure if you read his book (it's a great read btw), but even in it, there are certain things alluding to the fact that he may have been the one to make the initial call because he felt that the violence going on in the states was going to ruin the Shower Posse. As for the Dudus situation, it's actually documented in school records and Jamaican newspapers, that all of his children went to prestigious schools. Jah T, Livity, Dudus, Sandra. I'm not too sure about Chris Royal, but you can google it and see. Dudus was just hesitant to take up the reigns because he wasn't as interested and didn't really grow up around Jah T and Livity. It's an extremely fascinating story, and like you, I thought the same thing, but after reading more about their story, I found out quite a bit that surprised me.

As a Jamaican...living on the island... I can say that everything got worst for the entire island the day dudus left... He's the 1 that got changed in our nation's coding so nothing now works as its supposed to but hey... In 7 years he'll be back a guess what,he'll be welcomed and revered even though blood will be shed for past transgressions...it will be in the name of good since to make an omelet u must first break a few eggs.... Everything is “close”to correct including that FACT that Dudus is NOT Jim Brown’s son. He is the son of another man named “Loydie”. Research that you’ll get the truth. A lot of ppl don’t want to talk the truth of Christopher being a “jacket” bc they are afraid.

Yes breddda.....If I'm correct I suggested to make a video about JA gangs a few months back. Also swamp stories an episode about the Klansman (Vybz Kartel and I-Octane allegedly have ties to that gang) and/or One Order from Spanish Town would be just as interesting for a future video. Big up unnu self. Bless up...
@skelzaz9524 Жыл бұрын
That would be very interesting because klans and one order beef made spanish town into a ghost town my family had to leave spanish town in 2010 due to the high levels of violence but I think he needs to do one about Stone crusher from montego bay too the cop killers stone crusher was the first gang to be busted for a drum magazine in jamaica in 2006

Not wicked .....just fool fool youths been used . Same jlp affiliates , from down town kingston to montego bay .....this is how their coke empire eas spread out . When they did their crime they interchange areas ....from down town kingston to montego bay . Many of these fools fr montego bay died in the incursion when they went after dudus in tivoli gardens .....many did not go back home . They are brutal because they are on drugs ....nothing else . For what they did most of these fools are unable to sleep at nights as their wicked pass in their heads will not let them . This is why they roam night and day tormented .
