Love the idea. Be interesting to see how long the soil buffers as even the ADA section will release nutrients into the water column, I think. And the plants will consume via roots and leaves. We have ADA back in stock if you're running low.

This tank looks awesome! Love the diy light screen. I think the only thing I would have done differently was to stack some river pebbles in front of each partition, making a retaining wall look to the levels. Keep it up though!

Love the way you innovate the UGF method. Learning so much and trying the UGF method myself. Having one issue, using ADA Amazonia gold and SLAqua Magic Powder no algae or biofilm after two weeks! Acadama set up is fine.

I have BBA in one of my tank and it's very hard to get rid of especially with expensive shrimps in it. They are very sensitive creatures and most of the methods will hurt them. That's the problem.

Hi, I used it in some tanks as a additional soil so I mixed it with ada. I think i used it in shrimp steps and the plants growing amazing there so yea i think its good but need to test it by itself see how it performs

Way too fancy and so many times wasted. I use RO water, silica sand and sodium bisulfate. Give the tank 24/7 strong light and they ready to go in a week or two.
