I don't know too much about picking locks, but I think it works like this. lets say that one day we go to the store and we choose a lock, key locks come with a key that have a predetermined shape, when you insert a key into a lock it pushes the springs that are in the lock up into a certain position and thus unlocks the lock. since we own the key that came with the lock, the key will always push the springs up into the correct position (unless you filed your key down for whatever reason). Now, lets say caseoh wants to break into our lock, since he doesn't own the key that came with out lock he is now tasked with unlocking the lock with a prong. The way he unlocks a lock with a prong is that he will push up every little spring (or pin, to be more exact) until he hears a certain clicking sound which usually will indicate that the pin is in the right position. caseoh has to do this with every pin until all of the pins are in the right position, but that's not all, take everything that i just said and add an extra difficulty to it because caseoh now has (to some extent) randomly figure out the order of what pins to push up, because yes, you have to do them in an order, which is unique to every lock ever made, i think.

Hey case, by hovering over an item using the mouse, you can; - press A to add the item on favourites, thus u wont need to search again the item to craft. - press R to see how to craft/obtain it - press U to see its usage or whats it can be crafted into (some item doesn't have any usage) But first and foremost, get the combat specialization when u reached lvl 5. And only then will u proceed to lvl up your skill. For the skill recommendation; - magic lvl 6, so u can use bandage - agi 2, able to use bow - mining lvl 4 - and defense lvl up until u got the u cant be one shot trait

Case if you upgrade your magic skill you can make a summoning staff and all the mobs you come into contact with will be able to be summoned (even ones that hurt you) and fight for you (doesn’t work on vanilla mobs but mobs apart of lycanites mobs)
