Kobe had to retire because his body was literally tearing itself apart. The achilles injury in 2013, the shoulder tear in 2014… he gave so much to the game without stepping away for awhile like Michael Jordan or load managing like LeBron James.

I absolutely loved that man “pause” he exemplified the meaning of move forward continue in the moment you’ve prepaired for confidence in your ability and know that it’s enough to overcome any problem your physically facing and mentally, I used to get annoyed at his cockiness when he was young same as me in age a touch older, I then at some point realized I’m just looking at myself having the same attitude going against the grain I was merely hating on myself seeing him somebody who was just more successful at what I was as a person , that’s when I knew this man was my favorite basketball player and top all time goats in any sport / motivational human beings. Not to mention the fact that he’s top 4 all time scoring tops in defensive for years and has 5 chips to show for it with the same team through the ups and downs he went through it . He remained stead fast 💨 he’s my goat then Mike then everybody else that’s my opinion.

God said, the recipe for this success was 5 packets mixed in with 5 cups of water. Vince was given 6 packets, but only used 3 packets and mixed it with 6 cups of water, Kobe was given 5 packets but went took an extra packet from the kitchen and mixed it with 4/12 cups of water. You see the results; Vince played 23 seasons, mostly watered down, Kobe played 20 seasons of scintillating basketball.

I love Kobe actually grew to love him as his career wined down, but people like to place Carter and McGrady in this box all the time like they weren’t working hard as Kobe…The just did not have a legendary organization to put them in position to succeed that BS narrative needs to end…If they were centered around greatness or just even had stayed with each in Toronto they would be where they needed to be regardless if you think they didn’t work hard enough as Kobe, they were still elite ungaurdable players…Paul Pierce career looks better than VC and Tmac career because of the dynamic team put together in Boston, and he was not better than VC and Tmac by any stretch of the imagination….

I think Byron was saying Kobe was a true student of the game much like Tom Brady and he put in all the extra work that 99% of players don't and/or aren't willing. 99% of players will punch in, do the minimum, and punch out. Nothing wrong with this but it's what separates Kobe from Vince and Tracy.

it’s not the PF spot thats positionless it’s the definition of Small Forward how to play the #2 option 1-5, Either 1-3 front court or 3-5 back court there is kind of a 2-4 Kobe, KD was 2-5 trying SG, SF, PF & C he should realise #35 he can’t play PF so if he’s your PF you lose.. Kev is literally a 3.5 😂🍃 SF/C . LBJ is PG/C but he’s not that good a Center of attention so i think Brons a Power - Point Forward side kick. it’s the fact he can’t play SG… for example James worthy was #42 and a Power2Guard Kobe flipped it #24 Hear me out Magic was a PF bulit like a SF Larry, Standing at the SG spot playing PG #32 - 1 🤷🏽♂️ , Kareem was a Center shooting like a Super Small forward. and shooting % like Curry & KD #33 - Last message ♾️🐐’s
