Day One:
After renting a car in Lima, Stephan and I decided to go on a journey from Lima to Cusco which should of taken 20 Hours.
That didn't go as planned.

This is the normal life in Peru, but it's a kind country, people are very polite and sometimes shy. It's funny to see how foreigners English speakers show the real life in LATAM like it's something "exotic" and a bit "dangerous" but it's not like that all the time. Thank to show this, Peru is good and you're always welcome.

Peru is a worth of visiting, thanks for showing us some of the vibrant culture and beautiful geographic places of this Inca country. A tip on Spanish language pronunciation:the consonant "h" is always silent! For instance, hostal, hotel, huesped, hosteleria,hospital, habichuela, hombre, hijo, hija, etc.,you just ignore the "h", it is only for grammar purpose; then you will sound more confident and people will notice that you have some command of their Spanish language. I am Puertorican I live in Pennsylvania. I marry a Peruvian wonderful man.. and i went to Huacho.. Wao beautiful .. cheap and the people amazing. The food yummy. That’s absolutely Peru. My family is from the town of Canete which is about 20 min from there. U should go to Mala as well. They have the best chicharron. The beach in Mala are nice as well. Canete is known for its wine cachina and there food like carapulca and soups seca. And if you want to go canoeing, horse back riding and quad riding go to Lunahuana which is about 45 min from my town of Canete. My uncle owns a small hotel in Mala called el Moqui. Cool place to stay. All this is in the vicinity of south Peru.

As a Peruvian myself I found myself half offended/half amused most of the time haha but reading the comments I guess I was supposed to? 😂 My man you’d be surprised how ‘lifeless’ Can the desert be compared to huge artificial cities. The desert of Peru is AMAZING. I go south to the sand dunes of Huacachina oasis every winter, sandboarding, driving buggy cars, good sh**t. Of course the amazing Nazca Lines. Latinoamerican streets at night are risky yea but also Peru happens to be one of the places with the most welcoming folks out there. People (especially girls 😉) love gringos here. As long as you’re not disrespecting some Inca ritual or drinking some ‘rondero’s alcohol chicha they won’t whip you 🤣. Btw, llamas are evil, they will spit on you. I’ll watch the rest of your videos.. Pd: bruh you came to one of the foodie capitals of the region and you order fried chicken 💀💀😂😂🍺

You passed by an "Anticuchera"!!💖 if you go back to Peru you otta try it without the burning spicy hot sauce. You can appreciate the flavor of the heart meat withouth the hot sauce. There is a marinating technic before the meat is cooked, it's marinated overnight with lots of vinagre, cumin, and other spices. It's the flavor that gets you hooked on it. I saw on the previous video you enjoyed the "causa limeña" the mushed potatoe with a layer of chicken with mayonase...that is very delicious...👍👋

They always pull me over on the way to Asia or Paracas. You can imagine why. Although there are tons of cars without any vital parts, brakes or insurance on the road, my car is always in great shape thanks to regular function tests of all indicators, lights and documents. Friday afternoons are the worst to finance the weekend. You should drive up North next, to Lobitos, Vichayito and Mancora for some beach fun.

the road from Lima to Nazca is amazing. Paracas is also a good place for a rest. Lived in Peru for 8 years. But you have the red lager cusquena. That is my fav beer in Peru. Have a nice time in Peru...I love this country. And If you have time, you should try to go to the choquequirao trail. much better than Machu Picchu. just 4 hours from Cusco - direction to Apurimac. Should start in the Village San Pedro de Cachorra. It is just amazing there. Greetings from Germany and waiting for more vids of my old home ;)
