Glad to see you are there where my home is about 2 hrs away. Well, I haven’t really seen Siargao in my life and I left Philippines during my 19 yrs old life to live in Calif. USA. but I always watched any blogger that went or is still in Siargao. Yeah always beware of tourism from locals or government agency they can be offering too much or very pricey so never take it right away negotiate and negotiate everytime you’re dealing with money. You can drink the coconut water but it's bad if the coconut was exposed to the sun for a long time, it will give you a stomach ache, good thing you did not drink it. 👍I will always love the "hundred islands" and "pundaquit" used to be very quiet and it's only in Luzon you don't have to travel by plane.

Isaac and Tyler Just use Metro Shuttle Bus if you will come back to Maynila you can drop by to LEYTE and enjoy beautiful waterfalls and beaches like (Gunhuban Waterfalls, Masama Waterfalls, Sayahan Waterfalls and of course beautiful beaches in Biliran Island. SAMAR (Pinipisakan Waterfalls, Blanca Aurora Waterfalls, and Lulugayan Waterfalls) more beautiful beaches

Guys, the coconuts you opened and tasted are waaaay past that young sweet-juice tender-meat stage- the kind you have to pick from the tree. Coconuts falling off the tree are more mature, hence the juice isnt "drinkable" anymore. That is the kind used for cooking -- shredded and squeezed to produce the milky substance we call gata. Try to ask people to be educated about it.

Whats wrong with you two? Coconut milk is produced when you grate/finely shred the coconut meat and squeeze. Coconut juice is the water from the inside. You scoop jelly meat to make pulps. The jelly is the white part but not hard yet.
