Onitsha needs at least 4 more large shopping malls and several smaller ones. It is evident from the crowded mall that the purchasing power exists. I knew there was money in Onitsha on aggregate, but I wasn't certain of the class of people. I am amazed at all the full-size sedans that I saw in the parking lot of the mall. It ranks up there with Lagos Island and Abuja. Ndigbo are definitely enjoying prosperity. We just need more decent paying jobs for the greater population.

Yes. We really need to be humble . A lot of people are not happy with our progress. Being brash, loud and unnecessary ostentatious at this time only breeds envy and the vile in them. We just need to continue to fix our cities and forget about making unnecessary comments and competition. We just do our thing. We continue to move forward. God bless us all.

Cool. Very cool. You can see it brought out the beauty of your picture and made the images very vivid. Continue to showcase OUR BEAUTIFUL STATE IN FLYING COLOURS. AND LET US ALSO EDUCATE OUR PEOPLE ON THE NEED TO PAINT THEIR HOUSES. ALSO PLANTING OF TREES SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED. THIS IS WHAT MAKES ABUJA SO BEAUTIFUL AND SERENE. Thanks for your works. I hope the state government will make the RESIDENTS clean their gutters and plant TREES and repaint their houses. Then the beauty of ONITSHA AND OTHER TOWNS WILL MANIFEST.
@sirgosan23749 ай бұрын
@user-jl8ue7fr7k if you follow the governor's plans. You would've seen where he said they would pass a law that mandates house owner's to paint their houses as required. The plan is on the works already.
@EmekaOkeke-u9o9 ай бұрын
I know about the law. We just need to keep desensitizing our people the more so that it becomes part of our culture. Like building good quality houses is now in our DNA. WE KEEP PUSHING THE NARRATIVE. Everything is not law by the government. We need to own it too and make it ours. Like PLANTING of TREES too.

I have said it before, I will say it again! Nowhere in Nigeria like the East! From our towns and villages! We have mansions in villages! Anambra has the best rural road network in the nation. Check other areas, North, SS, SW! Kano/Kaduna only has roads, the rest is dust! PH, the most overrated "city" in Nigeria despite all the money! Put good wide road in Aba > PH. The only 2 places that can actually qualify for cities in Nigeria are Lagos and Abuja CBD. Awada Obosi (Onitsha) and Aba has the highest concentration of storey building in sub saharan Africa. Yoruba people are just latching onto Lagos cos the rest of SW is gross!!
