Bro.. Jaghatai Khan is awesome sometimes. Sanguinis is my favorite primarch but sometimes the things Jaghatai says are just so insightful. When he and Sanguinis were on the battlefield Jaghatai wanted to run towards his bike so he could upload the information about the enemy and Sanguinis said "That's not wise brother." And Jaghatai response was. "Nothing in war is wise, violence is not wisdom." 😎 Bro got them bars.

Warhawk for me. There is this single line in the novel that I just think is the most badass thing ever written throughout the entire Heresy. "Thousands of them would die for this indulgence, but that mattered not. He had made them sanctified. He was the maker of martyrs." I freaking love that line. And Kharne's and Sigismund's duel was perfect.

28:10 I love this scene. Because we as the fans have always thought the Emperor to be a fool for not warning his sons about Chaos. We assumed that if the Primarchs knew, they would be better prepared to resist it's temptations and face it. But Malcador confirms that we were wrong. Knowing about Chaos would not have necessarily made things better, infact there is a danger that it could have made it worse because Chaos is all corrupting, even knowing about it is dangerous. There is a reason the Inquisition in 40k will kill anyone who committed the sin of knowing ANYTHING about Chaos. Just the knowledge of it is dangerous

Katsuhiro’s whole story, the interactions between Horus and his traitor brothers, the interactions between Dorn, Sanguinius, Khan, Malcador, and Valdor, Raldoron’s “get off my wall” moment, and so many others. Edit: I’d be remiss if I didn’t also specifically mention the Khan’s first “f*** it, we ball” moment of the Siege

Now, the emperor grows more and more powerful. (It’s not like, humanity wasn’t decaying and warring before the emperor. After the emperor, now they fight each other far less. Arguably, chaos is weakened by the current state of the imperium, compared to how it would have been without the imperium keeping order). If we assume that the goal had been to kill the emperor… they failed. Now, the emperor is more powerful than ever. More influential than ever. What does chaos have? A threat to destroy Terra? What’s after that? In truth they can’t even do that. Not really. Chaos truly has no way of stopping the emperor.
