Right on target, my Brother! The Church is in dire need of Reformation in all the areas mentioned and more. Education is MOST IMPORTANT. Our leaders are being educated in worldliness in OUR institutions and in institutions of the world which they too often attend and are teaching our people the worldly principles they learn in these places. Des Ford theology of Evangelicalism which destroys the need for sanctification prevails in the pulpit and in the pews.

The bottom line is that many of our leaders have chosen to IGNORE or outrightly REJECTED the writings/counsels of the Prophetic Pen because it crosses their inclinations and desires. They choose not to take up their cross Jesus' stated cost of discipleship.

So we are to judge them before we admit them to our church. When are we to decide that their journey of sanctification is valid enough to join us in worship? I had no idea that I had such an awesome responsibility as to judge before we allow them to enter our company. I can see it is extremely important to not only work our way through the twenty eight fundamentals but to get a commitment from them as to their willingness to purify themselves before they sign up membership and join our ranks. Who among us is qualified to judge? The pastors and head elders? I am interested

According to inspiration, there is a sacred responsibility to carefully examine baptismal candidates. “Candidates who have grown to manhood and womanhood understand their duty better than do the younger ones; but the pastor of the church has a duty to do for these souls. Have they wrong habits and practices that they have not reformed? It is the duty of the pastor to have special meetings with them. Give them Bible readings, converse and pray with them, and plainly show the claims of the Lord upon them. If they give evidence that a change of heart has taken place, let them be baptized. Let the teaching of the Bible in regard to conversion be solemnly read to them. Show what is the fruit of conversion, the evidence that they love God. 15LtMs, Ms 57, 1900, par. 6 However, it is important to note that church membership is not a prerequisite for joining God’s people in worship-everyone is warmly welcomed. Hi Barbara. We are not to have an image of Jesus with the intention of worshiping the image neither should we actually worship the image. Making an image or likeness of Jesus may have other drawbacks, however as people could be deceived by what they perceived Jesus to look like whereas we do NOT KNOW what He actually looked like physically.

The very first work is with the heart. We cannot do the will of God unless we are first converted. You failed to explain the problem with the Laodicean church. They don't have " gold tried in the fire" that's faith that works by love and purifies the soul. " White raiment that thou mayest be clothed" the white raiment is the righteous of Christ, His characters. And " anoint thine eyes with eyesalve. That's spiritual discernment, which is given when we received at the new birth. The message to Laodicean is, your lost, unconverted and you must repent. Tell the people clearly that they are not Christians if they are in a Laodicean condition
