I bought my son one and I want it back from him now. It’s an absolute tack driver. It does it all- great off the bench, plenty light enough to hunt with. Collapsible stock if great to pack for hunting. He regularly outshoots my $4500 Fierce 300 wsm. I would say the cross shoots just under 1MOA. With the right ammo only! Went through Hornady, nosler, and others, We have settled on a 140 grain Norma tip strike.

Nice! Ya that was my experience as well, only with the right ammo. Kinda picky.

Thanks! At first I thought the hinge itself was coming loose, but it was just the bolt. I tightened it up and it’s solid now.

@@DADNURSE just a thought,,, you could remove the pivot bolt, clean the threads with alcahol , the put blue Locktite on the threads then set the tightness... we use Lucas gun oil blue ish green lol synthetic lube.. it's great for joints and the back of the bolt locking lugs!! Makes surfaces butter smooth... we ready for your next load test!!

Nice!! Have you had any issues at all like loose barrel, etc. I really want to get one but I’m a little hesitant with some recent reviews I’ve read.

The only bad reviews I've seen are old reviews from people that got the initial rifles that came off the line at launch. Everyone seems to really like theirs. I know a guy with 2 differnt versions of them and they are both great. Recent reviews seem really good.

I have one in 308. I hit 500yards back to back. But i have the sig sierra bdx scope and bdx range finder so im basically cheating. Never shor futher than 500 yards. But ive hit deer at 300yard with ease. Its a badass rifle
@DADNURSE

How do you like that scope and range finder combo? I was thinking it would be good on the cross.
@dethtour
@dethtour Жыл бұрын
@DADNURSE it's pretty great. You link them together with your phone, and you can zero in your rifle with a certain ammunition, and if you have another ammo, you can add them to the app, and it will automatically re zero your scope. I hit 500 yards all day. It's the sierra3bdx 4.5x-14x. The scope right now is going for about 700 bucks, and I was going to get a buck master combo, but I really wanted a second focal plane, but they're always more expensive. My setup on it is just the rifle, sierra3 scope, magpul bipod, sling attachment, and magpul sling, a hand stop with mlok covers so I can get a better grip if I shoot while standing, an added picatinny on the side, and a removable flashlight. It's a pretty need little setup. I got it last year and took home 3 deer out in west Texas. All my shots were from 100yards to 400yards. The range finder comes in hand though because it'll tell you on the scope where the shot is going to land and when you add windage it does the same so it's almost guaranteed you're going to land the shot.

I have the sierra 6 BDX 2-12 on my Sig Cross .308 as well. Paired with kilo 2200 rangefinder. Such a good set up

@sumblakdude9 I didn't want that rifle, but the one I actually wanted was a lever action 44mag, and it got sold out. So I spend twice the money and it's the best rifle I never intended to buy. I'm never getting rid of the sig cross. It's such a great setup.
