I pulled mine out just to check the fit, still no wobble or rattle. They spent god knows how much in research, it must be there for a reason. So I put it back! MAC thinks he knows better than Sig and threw it out 🤦♂️

I guess I'm glad I got my SIG AR before this reported QC issue. Mine is flawless. I absolutely went over it with a magnifier. It was one of the first M400 sold in the USA. My only complaint was the phosphate finished BCG. I love the ENHANCED aspects. The receiver tightener and enhancement to the extension that helps with extraction.

Get a 150.00 handguard, a cmc trigger, and radial charger, and a Sig red dot, and you are ready for for zombies of all kinds. This rifle is fantastic, I bought the original, had to get new handguard,new trigger, it was 9 lbs, no kiddin, now its 2 and a half lbs. The trigger is the lightest in a rifle I have ever fired,its as light as my springfield .45, and its tricked out in every way, plus a trigger job! So get ready to spend around 1200 bucks for a good one, or get a cheaper gun. Like .45s you can only do so much. I think the tread with maybe your personal upgrades, is a good way to go.

Things that concern me about Sig these days and past several years: 1. Quality control 2. They try to make EVERYTHING. I mean, they are the Amazon of guns. How can you truly be excellent at one thing if you are making EVERYTHING? 3. Way, way, way too many products/guns. Especially guns. Did I mention they make too many models of guns? 4. Turnover of products is HIGH. I bought a MCX back in the day and now there is no product support for it. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens to the Virtus in a couple of years. 5. As far as their rifles go, whatever format they make, there are far better options. DI? Go BCM, DD, KAC, LWRC. Piston AR? Go HK, LWRC, FN SCAR. 7.62 NATO? Go with KAC SR-25, LMT, HK. I do like the P320 FS and SC pistols and I own a P226 Legion and M11-A1. I have no issues with any of these pistols. But for rifles, I look to companies that specialize in them for the most part (HK and FN are obvious exceptions, but they have a much more sensible and streamlined product line not plagued with QC issues)
@AudibleVisibIe5 жыл бұрын
Of course those companies are going to make better ARs, most of them are twice the price. Apples, oranges
@ssharma13842 жыл бұрын
@ audiblevisible , it does not matter, there are far better options in the price range the M400 line occupies. Oh, and btw, the high end Sig rifles like the Virtus cost a small fortune.

Sig of North America's QC has become a real concern in recent years, the furniture on their previous rifles was throw away garbage to the point you wonder why they even sold it with furniture since the end user is going to throw it away and replace it anyway. I'll just wait on the rifle version of CZ's BREN 2

I was just at the sig store in NH and was handling the 716 Gen 2 and that rifle was way nicer than the Gen 1. The P229 was a lot nicer than I expected it to be as well. I think Sig is missing the mark on there lower not being full ambi. It is a bit disappointing with all the competion in the AR market this needs to become standard on any AR that wants to be taken seriously.I am just not seeing the value in this rifle. Looks like a milspec, with a fancy hand guard. In my comsumer opinion! But i want to add that I am so impressed with your reviews when I want to know a technical spec on a rifle your videos are where i look first. You break down each rifle by part and in detail better then any other youtube channel. Thank you for that!!!

What are you talking about? The lower has ambidextrous safety and bolt release.
@justanotherinternetexpert77436 жыл бұрын
@@Deltaworks23 nope it has a ambi safety, ambi mag release, but NO ambi bolt hold open or release, it also comes with no ambi charging handle, the lower its self is actually a pretty bone stock milspec lower, with a ambi safety and mag lease installed. 2 years late. But wanted to give my feedback. I own one. I have put 1130 rounds through it and have yet to have an issue. Granted I keep it well maintained and cleaned, but still it's yet to give me an issue. My only problem with it is the handguard heats up a little fast since there are no breather holes all the way down where all the heat is generated upon the bullet being struck. Beyond that it's been a phenomenal purchase
