So awesome. Hand painted signs really give life to a town and give them character, that you just can't be achieved any other way. People will travel to see such things , and people will remember murals and signs unique to that town for years to come

Doing an art trade with hands down my favorite local writer and artist hopefully next week when I wrap mine up. He does amazing signage and pinstripe work that I aspire to get to one day too. You mentioning the imperfections being a detail you prefer, while doing that amazing caliber of work lets me know its okay if what I give him has anything wrong. It shows a humans stress, their progress throughout the piece as it got more refined within inches of the same defect. And it makes what comes from a hand rather than a printer that much more important. Accepting that has made doing my art a lot easier. I will get more consistent.

2:02 where can I buy that tool box on the left? It reminds me of Geri the Cleaners tool box from Toy Story 2 when he fixes up sheriff Woody

When I was still painting scenery, I discovered that a lot of the physical movement came from my ankles…I could hold the brush much more steadily by shifting my weight, rather than extending my arm!
