Enjoyable episode. Find it rather strange that the looter is wearing a long sleeved suit jacket, long pants and dress shoes in 60 degree heat! Celcius. In reality I think humans would last a while longer if the earth was moving away from the Sun than moving closer. Either way the characters in The Midnight Sun are doomed!

He wasn't wearing a shirt underneath his jacket. And I believe that the jacket was supposed to protect him from getting burned. Also, he had to keep shoes on because he could've burned his feet off in the concrete if he went barefoot!

I read in my book about the Twilight Zone series episodes they created the running paintings by using the pictures painted on wax paper, on a vertical hot plate like set up. I agree this was a special episode, with two great actresses.
