Fun fact: the part where Lector talks about the Census taker who's liver he ate with the beans, the "ththththththththth" part was completely ad-libbed by Anthony Hopkins, it wasn't in the script and he did it in one take and everyone loved it so they kept it in. Now its one of the most famous lines in the movie.

Howdy MovieFusion, I'm glad to have found your channel and as a new sub, I look forward to your movie reactions. As a 53 year old disabled vet, its nice to see a new generation checking out what I consider the classics. I hope I can post a small list of what I hope you will react to in the second part of this video, but in the mean time , some book vs movie insight : Two things , one is the finger brush was significant because it was the only human connection Hannibal has had in a long time, where he wasn't killing and eating someone, it reflects a small part of his decency and kindness. The other part that has always bothered me is when he is playing with the Dr, saying the killers name is Louis, what the book reveal's is the Dr took credit for helping the FBI find the killer, not Clarice , so Hannibal gave the name Billy Rubin , bilirubin is the substance in your blood that makes your poop brown lol, and therefore makes the Dr look stupid for taking Clarice's credit

I would recommend the movie Braveheart (1995). There are a bunch of historical/epic/war movies that you might quite like. It usually features drama, heroism, (battle-)action, they usually also have depth because of the whole history that surrounds those movies and because it's not a fictional background it feels as coherent and realistic as it gets.
@GeekGal844 жыл бұрын
Others may have said this, not sure. I would highly recommend Hannibal Rising. Think of it as a Hannibal origins story. All depends if you want to know more bout him or not. There is a book on that one too. May not be the most popular in the franchise but I thought it was well done. Even if you don’t review it I’d recommend giving it a chance

Hannibal Lector as portrayed by Anthony Hopkins has long-since been considered one of the top screen villains of all time. The sequel, Hannibal, directed by Ridley Scott is good.
