Quite ironically, this is the first time I've noticed this video in life's business. It's one thing to be as brilliant a composer as you, to make the music evoke meaning and beauty on its own, but to do as you do and weave society's deeper meaning throughout and make even a casual listen a reflection on the world and what it could be if we only just listened - that's powerful. I always play the Silent City as I massage my parents to sleep. That is our regiment each night, and it got me thinking, what if one day, you stopped playing? I know that it would be selfish of me to demand that you play music forever, but musicians retire just like everyone else... At one hand, I think, I would feel a bit sad when that time comes, specially when I made fond memories with your music as the background, but on the other hand, I might feel joy for having the opportunity to listen to such fine music.... Im here July 2020 and when I first listen to City lights, the first thing that come in my mind was a boy called Shoya Ishida at the School festival when he looked at everyone in the eye, he promised to do that because he tried saving Shouko (Deaf girl) from Suicide, back then he bullied Shouko for being deaf, he would destroy and throw away her hearing aids and he regretted it because he starts to get bullied by his friends, when he looked around at the festival, it just gives me the feeling that when he cried, when he fell off the river trying to save shouko, his two friends were there to push him out the river meaning that they have changed. It also teaches us not to bullied someone who either deaf or blind, all we need to know is to be friends no matter what. I also referred to silent voice, I would reccomend watching Silent Voice if you haven't. And please don't send hate

Thank you! I think there are many tips I could give, depending on your experience with your instrument. For my melodies, the story behind it is more important than the complexity. To be honest, my melodies are quite simple and very easy to play - but I always have a scenery, a feeling or a story in mind when I find those melodies in my head.

It's a long story, but I was called "großes Reiskorn" many years ago by some of my closest friends which is the German word "big rice grain". The name itself doesn't have bigger meaning, but I have some valuable memories attached to it. :)
