Most amazing unwritten as yet history of our civilisation along the Silk Road... this is a rare gem from the 1960s of China which shows there were a lot more purposeful activities other than the cultural revolution going on ...

This series is a human heritage treasure. It's not perfect but there's nothing else like it. The Kitaro generic intro music is a failure, i don't think it is good enough to match the documentary. They should have used music tradition from the silk road cultures instead.
