I put some 2 piece steel wheels on mine, with factory foams and tires it is REALLY good. It’s also brasses up a bit and 100mm droop shocks make it a totally different truck while staying at factory ride height. I wish these Ascents had dig!

Who makes steel wheels? Thanks! Sounds killer

I bet this esc teamed up with a Holmes hobbies motor in the vrd carbon would be the ultimate killer combo

Someone tried soaking the stock wheels/tires in acetone to get the tires off and the wheels melted down to a white foam stuff lol. Toaster oven or heat gun would probably be the best bet for removing the tires lol

I have the Python X in my TRX4 Defender with a HH Revolver. I changed the pinion and spur gear to a belt drive because they made too much noise. Now it's quiet as a church mouse, with power to spare on 3S. Yeah it's a good esc, but time will tell how long they last. So far it works for me, but get one on sale if you can. If yours fails at least you won't be out a lot of money.

Hey bud. You were at Cherokee rock Village in northern Georgia. I live about 40 minutes from there and have crawled there many times. Where were you? I have never seen those lines before. I would love to try and cross some of those if you could guide me to where you were at I would greatly appreciate it.

How would you compare this to the fusion PRO? Or the outrunner motor? I like the esc features and the waterproof of the motor vs an outrunner one

How does the Furitek hold up when you need punch/wheelspeed constantly while climbing roots and inclines in a forest? For around 2 hours of beating
