I have watched several channels using AI to try to bring the Silmarillion to life, and this one is by far the best. Not only the visuals and effects are amazing, but more importantly, it follows the book pretty closely, I haven't found too many mistakes and the ones I did find are very minor and certainly don't alter the story. I think even those who didn't read the Silmarillion can understand and follow it through these videos. Great work

It's a valiant effort but I still prefer the Wizards & Warriors (aka Kings & Generals) channel for its thoroughness. It'll be interesting to see how this channel handles the events of the First Age, for comparison. We're still only in the Age of the Lamps so there's lots more to go.

Magnificent! I love the scenes where the characters talk and the mouths match the words…I know how difficult that is. I see Tolkien’s Catholicism in your visions of creation-a good thing. Immense detail and a superb visioning of this part of the book. The characters were both realistic and ethereal at the same time. The joy in the “Spring…” was almost palpable. The foreshadowing of things to come was very well done. Thank you.

No mythology ever created can be compared to Tolkien's!!! Though probably the Professor would disagree, as he liked Bewolf and Kalevala very much. I've never read them (yet), but knowing how Professor Tolkien was demanding about his readings, they really should be very good, at least. But I guess no writer has dedicated all his life to create and develop a mythology the way Tolkien did, so it has achieved an astonishing level of poetry and beauty and thrilling and so absolutely enjoyable!!! I love his stories. Regards.

@Butterflypegasus40 , I respectifully partially disagree, my friend: as already historically proved by Professor Tolkien's words, he created the languages and then a mythology to background them, including Middle-Earth itself. I only stood for the mythology's part. Regards.

I have always wanted to see Tulkas in action! Thanks for making it possible! With that being said, I have always imagined Tulkas to be bulkier, more like a viking warrior, a force of nature in human form. According to the Silmarillion, Tulkas was described to have ruddy flesh and golden hair and beard. Quite unlike the character I see here (the beard here is barely visible and Tulkas looks almost like a boy). Also, as I have mentioned elsewhere, it would be much more natural if the eyebrows of blond characters are blond too, not black (as is the case with Manwe for example)...

Beautiful work! But... maybe Eru shouldn't be so human? And a cockney Manwë was an interesting choice ;) Also, would the Valar actually wear clothes? I always imagined Manwë wrapped in clouds, Yavanna in leaves, flowers and tree-bark, Ulmo in water, shells etc. and the others in whatever was essential to their beings. Maybe later on they would choose appear to elves, men and dwarves in something that resembled clothes; but before any of these races awoke, I can't see why they would need to be clothed in human garments. One more quibble - what is said instead of Vána (the ever-young)? It sounds like "Renna".
