The Silver Age [Mountains] - The Complete Beginner's Guide To VALHEIM Series #4

Welcome to the Mountains of Valheim, warrior! Get ready to learn everything you NEED to know about the Silver Age and Mountain/snow biome in Valheim. This beginner’s guide is the 4th video in this tutorial series.
Whether you've defeated Bonemass and currently have the Wishbone (treasure finder), or want to skip him and get right to the good stuff, I'll show you how to find and efficiently harvest silver from the snow biome!
I'll also show you how to unlock and create the most powerful weapon at this point in the game. And, of course, I'll give you a solid strategy to defeat Moder, the boss of the Mountains, easily.
So grab a snack and a drink and let's get to hiking. That silver aint gonna mine itself!

A friend bought me this game 2 weeks ago and I've been playing solo recently because he's been busy. I've managed to solo the first 2 bosses and get a root mask so far following these videos. I still need to beat bonemass but thought I'd jump ahead and watch this one anyways. I'm thinking of getting a few bits from this biome and go back?

Great job! 👏 Yea, you can do that. You can skip Bonemass and still unlock silver with the Stagbreaker tip shown in this video. Thats what I normally do when playing solo. Then I return with a ton of frost arrows to woop on him once I’m ready. I support your plan! 👍

Do wolves follow you around once you tame them

If you interact with them, it will put them on follow. Interacting with them again will break the follow command and they will roam that area

@@mickygriggs yep, this ^^ You can click on them to follow you, take them to an area you want them to protect, and then click on them again and they will guard that area from any and all non-friendly mobs. Just know that they will take off chasing anything in the area and may wander out of the area if it is not closed off.

Does your Walls prevent them from swimming around? Ours doesnt but maybe we need them further into the sea

Yea, originally they would swim around when the wall ended at the water, but when I extended it out, the stopped. Also, I put up spikes on the outer edges of the wall which helps.

Okay I need some serious help 😅 I died in a frost cave and my spawn is in a base I made at the top of the mountain…and I have no spare gear lol any ideas how I get myself out of this predicament?

Sorry to hear it. Just make sure to get up high and look for small clearings between the boulders and elevated areas. Are you using the wishbone or stagbreaker to find the silver?
