The green web belt with the Marine emblem is from a Marine drill instructor. During the Second Phase of Marine recruit training, the recruits go out to the field to learn and perform infantry skills. The drill instructors wear camouflage military BDUs and they wear those web belts with the Marine Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. The recruits' web belts just have a metal spur that slides into a hole with no buckle whatsoever.

The bike brought back fond memories of my childhood growing up in the 80s and early 90s! I had a cranberry GT performer. I looked it up not too long ago and the frame was going for $1200, just the frame! The color was rare!!! My dad gave it to my cousin when I was a teenager and he spray-painted and ruined the damn thing. I’m still pissed off about the situation lol 🤣🤣🤣🤷🏼‍♀️ oh, one more thing that my dad should have NEVER given away is my first saddle for my pony. Most people keep theirs 😔 now I’m a 12X world champion and I’d LOVE to have my first saddle. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦‍♀️😔

My family purchased, on time a 35 foot houseboat, two months ago, moved onto it, a back to back storm ran us into rocks and sunk on the lake here in east Tennessee. State Farm would not pay us a dime, because it was an act of nature... (Why have insurance?) We now are in our Kia van living! Three of us plus our Pit bull... So stop crying dude! Just saying here.

@@Michael-zv8cl your story about the boat sinking, and living the Kia lifestyle. Was that supposed to be under my comment on reminiscing about my bike or wanting to keep my first saddle? Is it because your boat had fond childhood memories? The difference I’m getting from yours is it was out of anyone’s control that the boat was lost. Not sold or given away. I could still have my childhood bike, and saddle. It was a conscious decision to give them away, they weren’t ruined, or lost. That’s what I’m having a tough time understanding the connection between our situations. Now if my saddle was lost in a fire, or the bike was stolen then it was out of anyones control why they can’t be in my possession to this day. 🤷🏼‍♀️ or are you just reminiscing about your childhood, in that case I understand . but if I’m just not getting what your mean I’m sorry, I do suffer from 4 horrible autoimmune diseases that cause brain fog, and a tough time finding the right words. So if that’s the case, I’m truly sorry.

Very nice cottage! My only criticism is its sitting on the road, where dirt and grime will get in places you'd never think. Sweet tho, I'd love to have that setting on LBL, well just outside the park of course

Pete, metal roofs are good, but they get hot, you may not be able to do solar panels. I can also recommend those leaf guard gutters, no more gutter cleaning, just built a new 4000sq foot cottage in Dore County. I have seen your house being built i live about 20 mins away.

The house framing is coming along nicely... it would be cool to have a wrapped ceiling beam at the peak with 2 ceiling fans in between the horizontal beams - which seem massive to me, by the time you add a 1x wrap it will be a 6x10 or 12... they coulda made those out of 2x6s. Also would love to see some large arched corbels to hold up the new back shed roof rather than posts. Don't forget to wire for motion sensor floodlights on all sides and an outlet by the front driveway.

Thank you so much for showing us the progress on the cottage. Have you designed the cottage to expand in the future if desired? Ie adding wings off of the main house. Honestly if you don’t know I would encourage the architect to have walls that can be retrofitted for future incremental expansions.

Oh, that's very nice. Uh, I would love to live in something like that. You know, by some outdoor woods and stuff, like that just being out of the city, I live in Colorado in the Denver metro area and it is just horrible here and can't afford to live in the mountains, cause it's far too expensive plus you know. A lot of bad things happening in the mountains right now, fires and floods and you know, it's just, it's impossible unless you're rich to live in the towns that are up there. And so I'm just like I want to get out of this state of Colorado so bad and go somewhere else, but I don't know where to go. So I'm on the look for that.

Hey Pete, you probably already know this but my two cents worth....... Those guitars in front of the windows and under the heat/air vents is a big no no. The necks are under great tension and the combination of temperature changes will warp the necks and bodies and will lead to unplayability in very short order. Like your show. Keep up the good work!
