1. Brilliant video as always and makes you wonder how much silver intotal was discovered by the time the mine closed. Loved the extra footage and the small end grain of wood just blows your mind and then finally the old mine lamp bulb.

Cheers Anthony, yes, no records for it unfortunately, but I was told by the person who origionally showed me that before that collapse, it was a huge mine.

This is one lovely mine, beautiful colours down there. Awesome stone tunnels nice to be able to stand up instead of crawling, lots of stopes & cavities & pick marks & how old are the timber beams 🤔 the water was quite low & judging by the water mark on the walls doesnt seem to get too high. Pretty waterfall too! Fab explore 1 & a bonus feature! I think its amazing how you find these mines this one had a very spooky feel to it with it being the woods! Brilliant Lads. 😊👍❤❤❤

1. Nice find with the old flash bulb, that's the first one I've seen discovered inside a mine. There was some water but compared with some of the mud filled hell holes you guys enter this was a nice mine.

1. i have questions (as always) ....... given that mine owners would rinse every penny from a mine and that coal seam is that thin and the amount they would get out in a week wouldnt be that much , would they try and charge the miners or rather sell it to the miners for there use for a minimal amount or just dump it ?. that black stuff was that mud or a mineral deposit ?. and i liked the sound of the music even though it was but a snippet.

@@mikewright447 they weren’t there for coal, and may not have been economic to extract do any that was removed probably got used by the miners as they did in some others.

I'd like to see them running, but I'd rather live now than have to work in them, would have been hell holes at the time. The videos are uploaded out of order, the mine you see at the end is actually the coal mine we showed a few weeks ago. There is another video coming of the area as we found more mines, including one inside one of the culverts!

1. Music was very appropriate, liked it. I think it would be nice if you spent a bit of time in front of the camera, we never see you, it helps the watcher form a relationship with you and takes this to another level, IMHO of course. We see Thor and Gary from time to time properly but every so often maybe you could do a piece to camera because you are narrating anyway 🤷‍♂

There is actually nobody behind the camera, I'm just a very advanced, floating AI camera. Even if there was, wouldn't show them as the video is about the mine, not about me. Early videos didn't always show anybody in shot but it was thought to put people in shot to give a concept of scale to these places and to add the human touch, but ya, no need to see me, as many other exploration channel hosts don't appear either :)
