Please Miss, is your painting on silk support or washi paper. ? Thanks for your answer.
what is the best paper to use when painting using gansai?
@FlatB-my3xl4 жыл бұрын
Sorry for sticking my nose in, but I like to use watercolour paper, or sized Japanese paper
@leftyfourguns3 жыл бұрын
@@FlatB-my3xl Watercolor paper is a good suggestion. While traditional washi paper is the most ideal paper to use for paint like this, it's probably difficult to get outside of Japan

so gansai is like the Japanese version of western watercolors and "Nihonga" paints are just pure natural pigments bound with glue ?
@hidukimiwa3 жыл бұрын
Generally, you are right. However, the paint may contain both natural and chemical materials.
